Breaking news (although it should not be because this detector has been around for a while now!).

JREF announces launch of the RANDI (Remote And Near Detection Indicator).

Compared with other detectors such as the ADE651, GT200, ALPHA 6, H3TEC, HEDD1, SNIFFEX etc, which claim they can detect almost anything, but actually work no better than random chance because they are a pile of poo, and the people who sell them are immoral bastards, the RANDI has an incredibly high identification/exposure rate.

The RANDI can detect almost any of the following foul substances, through application of grey matter alone:

Charlatans of many a hue and cry.
So called, self appointed psychics.
Purveyors of nonsense products.
Pedlars of pharmacological piffle.
Psychopath psychic surgeons.
Sellers of scam religions (all of them?)
Completely crappy conspiracy theories and theorists.
Mythical monsters and mammals.

ET Al (no, not Green! That's one of my random musical references).

All you have to do is point the RANDI at a dodgy looking target, and it locks on within moments usually. Sometimes you may have to be patient while it computes the methodology of the con, fraud or trickery, but rest assured, it very rarely fails.

If the target appears to be spewing out large and potentially dangerous spurts of bullshit, the RANDI automatically attempts to shut off the flow, using logic and rational bombs (completely un-detectable by the targets, especially those named above, which could not detect anything except the corruptible and gullible, Sadly we are unable to control the almost inexhasutible supply of these marks or consumers of the scams. They say there's one born every minute. I reckon it's more like one every second, but that does mean the market is still vast for the RANDI).

Regrettably the RANDI does not carry enough armament to stem the flow of BS from every quarter, but it is highly reliable, and sticks to its tasks like a limpet mine (also un-detectable by those other devices!).

The RANDI is a proven performer in many theatres of operation e.g. John of God.

It has been tested in extreme environments where blizzards of BS can be present.

The RANDI has performed under fire from the various targets it is programmed to detect. Vast amounts of insult, innuendo, diversionary, ad hominem, strawmen, fake evidence, and other forms of non-argument ammunition has been aimed at the RANDI. It still looks remarkably good for its age.

While the original RANDI has been around a while now, we have failed to find a more reliable design.

If the target remains operational, the RANDI deploys its MDC Inter Galactic Ballistic Missile, which carries a deliverable payload of 1 Million Megaton Dollars. Otherwise known as the JREF Million Dollar Challenge. The MDC hangs above the heads of targets and repeatedly drops charges on the targets. Every time they refuse to give in, and accept the MDC is more powerful than they are, they look more and more battered and bruised.

We are working on a new version of the RANDI. The upgrade will include flashing lights, and a nuclear quadrupole resonance missile. This upgraded arms capability will enable even more kills of the targets.

So, the RANDI not only detects, but is programmed to destroy the sources of baloney and BS, wherever it tries to hide.

We appreciate that many of these Weapons of Mass Delusion (W.M.D.) have still not been destroyed, but many have been badly wounded, and restricted in operational range by the deployment of the RANDI.

We regret that some technologies enable some of the targets to repair themselves following deployment of the RANDI e.g. The Popoff With Your Money (PWYM). However, yet again we can promise that once deployed, the RANDI never gives up. It is the most tenacious technology we have yet seen.

ADE651 STILL IN USE IN IRAQ! WTF!

A friend of the Fake Explosives Detectors Campaign recently returned from a business trip to Iraq.

He reports the following:
1. The ADE651 fraudulent killer so called explosives detector is still extensively used around Baghdad. This is despite all the publicity that the thing simply cannot and does not work, and the thousands of lives that have been lost, or ruined due to inevitable failures of the ADE651.
2. It appears that most Iraqis are fully aware that the ADE651 is a joke. One guard was observed holding his thumb on the aerial, which would of couse prevent it moving. Is this because he knew it is useless too, and maybe wanted to avoid dealing with all the inevitable false positives?
3. An ADE651 registered a false positive on our friend. Luckily he was with one of his local business partners at the time who has some influence, and after a brief chat and a waving of paperwork, they were on their way. The incident did make our friend quite nervous. What if he had been on his own at the time?
4. May we remind you that the head of the Iraqi bomb squad responsible for the corrupt purchasing of $85 Million U.S.D. of ADE651s was arrested early last year on charges relating to the purchases of the useless device. Sadly he was subsequently released under a dodgy law (136b), which has apperently since been repealed, but which allowed Ministers to unilaterally quash corruption charges. Presumably the Minister responsible let off Major General al Jabiri because he had shared in some of the corrupt money! May we also remind you that the Iraqi Interior Ministry was ordered to pay back $20 Million U.S.D. to the Iraqi Treasury by way of a fine for the corrupt ADE651 purchases.

So, how come the ADE651 is still in use in Iraq to this day? It is over 3 years since Techowiz and I started to let everyone know that the ADE651, GT200 etc were completely useless. This has been conclusively proven. When will the Iraqis come to their senses and ditch the stupid useless swivelling aerials? How many more lives must be lost? How many more limbs detached? How many more families torn apart?

CLINTON ROGERS REPORTS

Clinton is a journalist, and a fine fellow (and now an Honorary Campaign Superhero!), with a long history of working in and around Somerset. He got the first interview with James McCormick of ATSC and ADE651 infamy back in 2009 (The first BBC Newsnight report in January 2010 was based on that interview). The one where McCormick claims that his fraudulent ADE651 detector works akin to dowsing, and is proven to work. Both statements being lies. First, dowsing does not work for anything, and second, the ADE651 has only ever been proved to be useless, except where bribes overcame this minor detail.

Here Clinton does a follow up to his original report. He poses the question the Fake Explosives Detectors Campaign has been asking for a long time i.e. why has McCormick still not been charged after such a long investigation? Of course, we also want to know why Gary Bolton, the GT200 fraudster, has not even been arrested yet.

Clinton sums up the story so far very well, and even gets the recently media shy Chief Constable Colin Port to comment. Port claims that it has been a complex investigation involving 23 countries. His answers leave a lot of questions unanswered. Like why did the Avon and Somerset Police re-bail McCormick again in December 2011 , for the eighth or ninth time, but this time only for one Month to January 2012. Previously they had interviewed him and re-bailed him on a number of occasions for 3 Months each time. So, with such a short re-bail, we imagined they were almost ready to charge McCormick. In fact, we had strong hints this was the case. But no. They then re-bail him for six Months???? All most odd.

Also, why are they trying to prosecute him for so many different countries. They could easily build a case on Iraq and say Niger alone, and just put on record the rest of his frauds, couldn't they. And anyway, we have no idea how they have come up with 23 countries. Our knowledge is that this is an inflated number, but who are we to say? After all, we only told the Police almost all they needed to know a long time ago!!

Anyone who has followed the Fake Explosives Detectors Campaign (FEDC) will know that I was inspired by James Randi of the James Randi Educational Foundation (JREF)

Back in 2008 Randi issued his Million Dollar Challenge (MDC) to the ADE651. It was the fact that the ADE651 was being sold by a British company that got my goat (Damn, I loved that goat! Not carnally I hasten to add! Just joking. Got my goat means it made me mightily angry),

Anyway, it was the Randi MDC that motivated me to start to investigate further, and subsequently to encounter my great friend and great man Techowiz. Anyone who wants to know more can go back to the beginning of this blog and follow the story, or see the book of the blog at the link below (the book is easier to follow because it starts at the very beginning).

Here we link to a recent interview with The Amazing Randi at the Magic Castle. The interviewer is the marvellous mentalist, Max Maven.

It's well worth listening to the whole interview because Randi is truly a great skeptic. Despite his advancing age and recent illness, he is a deep well of great stories and wisdom.

However, for those of you with not much time, fast forward to 40 minutes in when Randi discusses the MDC with Max, and explains a little of how it works. He also mentions the Quadro Tracker and the ADE651 (actually he calls it the ADE561 but I think we'll forgive him for getting two digits the wrong way around!).

Well, we are now over three years into the campaign, and of course, none of the main criminals involved in the trade in fancy dress dowsing rods have been charged with any crime. Since Randi has been publicising this scam since 1995, isn't it AMAZING that little or nothing has been done to end this disgusting fraud? If you agree, please spread the word.

N.B. Randi can be very generous to deluded people who believe in all sorts of BS, despite the fact that he endeavours to expose frauds, scams, psychics (e.g. Sylvia Browne and John Edward) etc etc. We just want to make it clear that none of the Fake Explosives Detectors have ever been put forward for the MDC despite numerous challenges from Randi down the years, and despite some of our 'favourite' fraudsters saying they would or might take the challenge, or indeed get proper testing carried out. Today we will focus again on the way that Gary Bolton (Global Technical Ltd and the GT200 fraud detector) managed to worm his way into the heart of the British Defence Establishment and Government.

As an avid follower of this blog no doubt you already know how the Defence Manufacturers Association (DMA) welcomed Gary to its bosom (the tits!). Of course, the DMA is now called the ADS.

You will also be familiar with the fact that both Brinley Salzmann (pictured and now Export Director of the ADS) and Major General Alan Sharman (retd), ex-Director of the DMA took Gary Bolton with them to Parliament to moan about the lack of support for exports of his fraudulent device.

You will recall how Salzmann and Sharman have lied about that meeting i.e. that the GT200 was not raised at the Parliamentary Committee. It is now a matter of record that they have tried to squirm out of any responsibility for helping Bolton sell his death trap fake detector around the World.

Well, we have been investigating this further. Brinley Salzmann, what an unimpressive insignificant little toe rag he really is. We think that the British Defence Industry needs someone a tad more impressive to represent it around the World. Not some petty little bureaucrat/apparatchik. Maybe an ex-Military man or woman who would have some credibility with Military and Government buyers around the World, and certainly not a little shit like Brinley, who helped Bolton sell his shite, and now does and says nothing about it. Except of course to lie and cover up his stupidity and that of his old boss Sharman (plus others involved in this scandal).

So Brinley, time to become a man and condemn your own stupidity, and that of others like Sharman. Doesn't seem likely he will get some cojones now, but one can always hope. Maybe he will have a twinge of conscience about his lies, and his assistance to Bolton. Wake up and realise that real men admit their mistakes, and take the consequences. We have given you a chance before. Here's another chance to make good. Just think about all those bloody dead bodies you helped create. Just think of all those destroyed families, limbs and lives and suffering that you (yes, YOU BRINLEY THE BERK) are responsible for.

Just think of the corrupt waste of money that you and your mates like Sharman have a direct responsibility for.

What is he talking about? Well, as usual there is some reason to my rhyme.

First, we here at the Fake Explosives Detectors Campaign have been working hard to get rid of a load of old shite, in the form or persons of James McCormick, Gary Bolton and all the other sewage involved in the swivelling aerial fraud.

But there is a second reason. There is a design flaw in the u - bend flushing bog. It can get all blocked up.

As you know, we have been hammering away at the Police for some time to get them stirred into action to wipe away the turds. They have been painfully slow in getting to the bottom of these frauds, despite all the information we have provided.

However, there is another blockage in the U-Bend. The Crown Prosecution Service (shouldn't they be prosecuting the Crown with a name like that? What about that naughty boy Andrew for example?).

So keen are they to avoid risk that they seem to only want to authorise charging and prosecution of the blatantly obvious frauds if they get a signed confession from the fraudsters.

Funny though. If the political wind is blowing they seem to be able to get a move on. Of course, we have many questions as to why the political wind has not been blowing in the direction of the swivelling fraudsters who have enabled so much death and destruction. And as you know, we have reason to suspect that this may be to cover the embarrassment of the UK Government for having supported and promoted the fraud, and then apparently covered this up and said nothing.

Anyway. To the point. And to the Police and CPS. GET A BLOODY MOVE ON! Or you can kiss your arses good bye! That blockage in your u-bends is beginning to stink. Like the stench of rotten corpses!

Lovely to be back after a great holiday!! Where? A secret!! Ho Ho!! Hope all our FRIENDS had a good holiday too!!

Well.. You couldn't be more wrong! Yes. We got a bit frustrated at times, but then again, who would not after all our hard work to expose the fraud and the fraudsters. Yes, you lot of fake swivelling radio aerial detector criminals! Listen up!

Now, some of you may think that we have not made a lot of progress so far, but you would be very wrong! Look at the internet. The longer The Fake Explosives Detectors Campaign goes on, the less room for manoeuvre or further sales of this fraud, as the word spreads around the globe (you should see our blog statistics! Ho Ho!! Look at the many legal threats we have received, and the attempt to censor us just a few weeks ago. Nothing stops us!!

And we have learned much, and of some matters to come. But we'll keep you guessing for a day or two. Don't want to spoil any surprises now, do we!

Of course, 2011 saw the birth of Hoppy.

But more importantly it saw the tenacity and willpower of Techowiz!!

1. Perhaps if the Iraqis had invested in proper explosives detection equipment/dogs and systems some time ago, instead of corruptly buying $85 million dollars of fraud ADE651 detectors (see Jaberwocky Jabiri story below!), at least some of this madness may have been stopped.

2. If the Gangster factions of the so called 'peaceful' Muslim religion, were not all fighting over their slice of the big fat pie, under the Gang Names of Sunni, Shi-ite, Wahhabi etc etc, could stop for a moment and look back at the great civilisation that came before Mohammed, would they not become a real force in the World again, instead of a murderous squabble of petty thieves, who defile any notion of a decent and beneficial religion?

Did anyone else know this? It certainly took us a while to find out, despite our detecting skills (which are really quite good when compared to those of the wholly ineffective fake explosives detectors, and the 'finest police in the World' - Santa Claus says Ho Ho!!. Aided, we should add, by that top secret detection device known to those with top security clearance as Google).

What have we just discovered?

Remember Major General (another Major General. just like our own favourite Alan Sharman retired), Jihad al Jabiri, Head of the Iraqi Bomb Squad, who signed off orders for $85 million dollars of the fraud ADE651 detector, via General Pierre Hadji Georgiou of Prosec in Lebanon, and ultimately from that chief fraudster, James McCormick of ATSC. Remember, these fake detectors cost many hundreds if not thousands of lives in Bagdhad and elsewhere in Iraq, as well as untold suffering, and property damage.

Well, we were of course delighted when Major General al Jabiri was arrested earlier this year, following the last BBC Newsnight investigation. News was that Jabiri was arrested on charges of corruption. And that the Interior Ministry in Iraq was ordered to pay back $20 Million USD to the Iraqi Treasury as punishment for the corrupt ADE651 purchases.

A little bird told us that the US State Department had ordered the Iraqis to act because they had known for some time that the ADE651 and similar devices, were fakes, and were mad at the Iraqis for buying them, and putting US lives at risk.

By now we thought that Jabiri would be rotting in a tasteful Baghdad jail. Or strung up like he deserves! What a perfectly apt end for a man who claimed he knew more about bombs and explosives than anyone else in the World. A man who claimed that he did not care what Sandia Labs said. A man who said that using dogs (which can actually detect explosives) would turn Baghdad into a zoo!! The man who said that he did not care if the ADE651 worked by magic or science. He knew it worked! Well, of course he would say that wouldn't he!

He had the millions of dollars that he and his colleagues had shared in bribes to protect. Sadly it seems he did not have the protection of his own people at heart!

Well, yet again, we here at the Fake Explosives Detectors Campaign were mightily mad that the 'good' General Jabiri was quietly released from all charges back in May. HOW YOU ASK?

Well, it seems that in 2010 the Iraqi Parliament tried to repeal a law (136b), which explicitly allowed Ministers to unilaterally let off Iraqi public officials for corruption, regardless of the evidence. Apparently they failed to get rid of this licence for corruption, with one or two decent Iraqi politicians complaining bitterly that their efforts to stop corruption were being thwarted (when you check out the links below maybe you will understand why none of the top dogs in Iraq want effective anti-corruption measures in place!)

Well, back in May, the Interior Minister invoked 136b in the case of Jabiri and others involved in the ADE651 scandal. Why would he do that we wonder? To protect his own share of the corrupt loot? You might think so. We couldn't possibly comment! Ho Ho! Of course we can comment. The Iraqi Interior Ministry, and all the others, are riddled with corruption, right to the top!

Apparently, just when Jabiri was apparently being let off scot free, some members of the Parliament were again trying to repeal 136b.

We think Secretary of State Hillary Clinton should be told!

So, just another example of where almost everyone in this disgusting story seems to get away without any action by the authorities, whether here in the UK, Iraq, Germany, where Vollmar and Trier peddle their HEDD1 (formerly SNIFFEX), or in the US itself, where Chuck Christensen still merrily promotes his H3Tec fraud, or In Thailand and Mexico (and many other countries in the World that have corruptly purchased various versions of the same swivelling detectors fraud.

We continue to ask how the hell people who sold and bought this obvious killer fraud are not brought to justice?

We will not stop until they are! Understand that fraudsters and the corrupt. We do not go away until you have paid for the lives you have wasted. Whether innocent civilians, or brave soldiers and police who do the real job on the ground, and earn a pittance compared to you fat bloody cats/pigs!

P.S. Apologies. It seems that 136(b) was actually repealed in April, so we assume that Jabiri was let off just before that happened. If you have any information on this please feel free to let us know.

Why the German? Back to Bonn again to meet our pals, David Vollmar and Frank Trier at Unival. The sellers of the HEDD1 (Hasn't Even Detected DooDoo Once!).

We have had a Financial Times Germany article translated, and it tells me some of my favourite things. Like what idiots Vollmar and Trier, and anyone who falls for the HEDD1 are. Like how they never produce legitimate evidence. Like the fact that they are really getting upset with us.

A little black apparatus with a tuning antenna on top could make the body-scanner controversy in Germany come to an end: The HEDD1 is supposed to locate explosives from as far as 100 meters away, even through walls. It is an unpleasant winter's day, cold and damp, and the underground car park in Bonn where I find myself is not exactly welcoming. But I am accepting the circumstances because I am about to become witness of a security-technology revolution: The Unival company is demonstrating its bomb detector to me, a hand held device with the somewhat impersonal name "HEDD1". Upon closer inspection, the 276 gr machinery looks like a black bicycle grip with some sort of antenna attached to it, which in turn will rotate towards the direction where the bomb is.

If you believe the manufacturer, this device is more effective than any comparable bomb detectors on the market. As a genuine all-rounder, it may detect TNT, dynamite, liquid, plastic, and many other explosives from a distance of up to 100m. Even concrete walls are no obstacle. "There is no other technology that is able to discover explosives from such a distance” says David Vollmar. He is the founder and owner of Unival Group, a small, young company for security technology in Bonn. "The detection rate of HEDD1 is over 80 percent."

But you have to know that Vollmar does not refer to scientific tests, but rather to more than 100 presentations that were organized by Unival. If the 80 percent detection rate were really true, the HEDD1 could solve many security problems in one swoop. Self-made roadside bombs in Afghanistan? No problem. De-mining? Ditto. With HEDD1 the Detroit aeroplane bomber would never have slipped through the checks. If it was up to Vollmar, the world would not discuss the use of body scanners at airports, but the HEDD1.

Why does it not? Because many experts doubt that bomb detectors like HEDD1 are anything more but a self-deception of the user. In recent years, a whole group of models appearing very like dowsing/divining rods came on the market, to detect explosives through the antenna swinging. The best example is ATSC, a British company that has delivered a device called the ADE651 to Iraq. Among other things - the government in Baghdad bought more than 1,500 pieces at a price of up to 45,000 pounds.

In January, the company owner was arrested on suspicion of fraud. Inside the detector only simple RFID tags were found, as used, for example, in shops to prevent theft. According to scientists from the University of Cambridge it is impossible for these tags to discover anything at all. Nobody knows how many people lost their lives at checkpoints, because the security forces relied on the ADE651.

Unival do not want to be associated with such charlatanism. Now I want to convince myself of how the HEDD1 functions properly. For this reason I hide two small explosive charges in the underground car park: a rifle cartridge and a pack with New Year's Eve firecrackers. Vollmar and Frank Trier, who is responsible for customer training at Unival, wait outside. They are convinced of the potential of their product: "In the next one to two years, we will have sold up to 3,000 units," says Vollmar. The cost of around 8000 € for an apparatus is almost a bargain: A body scanner is at least $ 150,000.

The predecessor of HEDD1 was sold some 2000 times to 40 countries around the world, including to the Turkish army, the Iraq interior and defence ministries and the Italian border patrol - but also to the German Wisag, a service provider with approximately 20,000 employees. For a discussion of the detector there was no one available (at WISAG) on request.

Behind the invention of HEDD1 is a tinkerer named Yuri Markov, a Bulgarian. For more than 15 years, the former telecommunications engineer has worked on the development of the system that was first marketed in the U.S. under the name "Sniffex" - and that the German company Unival now exclusively distributes as HEDD1. Markov will not reveal what technology exactly is behind it, For example, he does not say what is inside that metal container that is at the heart of the detector. Trade secret.

What he reveals is: The HEDD1 creates a "modulated magnetic field" if the magnets above and below the metal container set the substance in vibration. Additionally, a magnetic field is created around the explosive substance. In the event of magnetic fields overlapping, the antenna turns towards the direction of the bomb. The human body thereby acts as some sort of amplifier.

One of Markov's harshest critics is the professional skeptic James Randi, a former magician and escape artist, who has made it his mission to expose charlatans and pseudo-scientists. Sniffex he calls "a fake, a fraud, a hoax." Unconscious self-deception of the user, are responsible for the movements of the device is a similar way to a seance glass moving. The U.S. Navy has proved him right. They tested the Sniffex after the bombings in London, the report appeared in 2008 on the research portal ProPublica. In one test scenario, two trucks laden with 500 kilos of explosives directly drove past the Sniffex. Reaction? None. The result of the investigation: "The Sniffex hand held detector is not able to detect explosives."

For Vollmar, however, the test does not speak against Sniffex but rather against the Navy "The previous (Sniffex) devices were difficult to handle. The Navy has operated the equipment incorrectly. Under these conditions, the test does not succeed." In one photograph, published with the report, a man holds a bomb detector in front of him like a revolver. Completely wrong, to do it that way. How to do it right? Trier shows me during the search of the car park: Pull out the antenna, smoothly and direct it downwards. Then he presses the device against the side of the chest and positions it forward. Like this, Trier walks in circles several times, to explore the terrain.

What does the scientific community say about this? "I'm not an expert on magic wands or April Fools', grumbles a researcher who does not want to be named, but who himself has once worked on developing a bomb detector. Even for Franz Fujara, professor of Physics at the TU (Technical University) Darmstadt the whole thing appears "a bit obscure". "Scientific terms are indeed being used, but together they make no sense," says the physicist. The patent application of HEDD1 was "either very foolish or an insolence." The other four scientists with whom I speak are also more than skeptical. "We do not believe that one can detect such small magnetic fields at such distances," emailed me Hannes Toepfer, a professor of physics at the TU (Technical University) of Ilmenau. But Mr. Trier and Mr. Vollmar have now got the opportunity to convince me of the opposite.

The antenna reacts for the first time and points very clearly towards a Mercedes. "Before we now crawl on the floor – will you not want to clarify this," asks Vollmar. But they can crawl endlessly: There is nothing hidden (in the Mercedes). Unless the driver maybe has firecrackers in the trunk. Now Vollmar also grabs himself a HEDD1 and joins the search. This time, the antenna points at a car that is covered with a blue tarp. It's a bit like Hit the Pot (children´s game): warm but not hot. The package with the firecrackers is under the car next to it. The next indication again is a blank. Vollmar picks up a traffic cone and looks behind a fire extinguisher. Nothing.

Perhaps it is smarter to rely on conventional detectors instead of modulated magnetic fields, even if they do not guarantee complete security. At airports, for example, metal detectors and X-ray machines are being used. So-called egis devices analyze traces of compound gases that are often used with explosives. All these techniques have drawbacks, however: they are too slow, too prone to error, difficult to operate or they can only detect specific explosives. That is why intensive research on new technologies is done.

In the parking garage Vollmar is screwing up his last chance. Although the antenna is pointing in the right direction - the last remaining corner of the parking garage - but when Trier walks down the line of cars, the antenna, again, does not point at the right car. "That surprises me," mutters Trier. Vollmar explains: "We do not exactly know where to find the material we can only roughly tell and if you find something, you have to lock down the premises and call the bomb squad..."

So far, hardly any Western agency acquired a HEDD1 or its predecessor. But Vollmar hopes that this will soon change. A German security agency is supposedly considering a purchase. Which one it is, he does not want to reveal. The press offices of BKA (Federal Criminal Department) and BND (Federal Intelligence Agency) refuse to comment, and the Federal Office for Defense Technology procurement denies any interest.

Vollmar and Markov intend to further invest into the technology in the coming years. A prototype for antibiotics has already been developed, says Markov. Detectors for chemical, biological and nuclear warfare agents are being planned. A silver bullet that is. Only the U.S. Department of Justice again makes everything look bad. Ten years ago it issued a warning: "Be wary of devices that use a pivoting rod, which is held almost horizontally, and which points at the sought material."

No scientific test has ever confirmed the functioning of such devices. The description perfectly fits the HEDD1 – even though, at the time, it did not exist.

THEY CAN'T TAKE THAT AWAY FROM ME!

As reported by Techo, seems someone got upset about my blog. Oh dear! I am so sorry! (Not!)

Techo called me last Thursday morning to tell me that my blog had disappeared. He was worried. I was very happy! As I told him, what we are doing is working, and if someone wants to shut us up, then we must be making progress, and getting closer to the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Anyway, about 9 A.M. I tried to log in to the blog to be greeted by a message that said the blog had been removed and that the URL was no longer available, and to check Google Terms and Conditions of service to see why this might have happened,

Techo and I were just discussing our response to this pathetic attempt at censorship, when, about 11 A.M. I tried one more time to see if the blog was still removed. Surprise! It was back.

Now this is pure speculation, but we imagine that either David Vollmar at Unival (HEDD1) or Major General Alan Sharman (retd.), or Brinley Salzmann, Export Director of ADS, or Colin Port, Chief Constable of Somerset Police, had got their knickers in a twist over recent posts (see below), and asked Carter Fuck, or some other bunch of ambulance chasing liarwers (sorry, lawyers), to write to Google complaining about how nasty we are here at the FEDC (Fake Explosives Detectors Campaign).

We guess that Google then had a proper Lawyer look at my blog, and realised that, whilst quite rude about lots of fraudsters and fraudster supporters, there was nothing wrong with our entirely fair and justifiable comments.

Well, of course, as some of you know already, I am psychic, and had predicted something like this might happen (NOT REALLY PSYCHIC! JUST KIDDING!), and published my blog as a book, and distributed it widely so that it can never be suppressed. A little warning to our fraudster friends and their supporters. If you try anything like this again, don't fear. It will all simply pop back up again, very soon!

No, in this case we are returning to our friends from a few posts ago. From their very own website:

Now, as you know, due to our dissection and detection, the Major general tried to neatly sidestep any responsibility for his actions whatsoever. It was all such a long time ago! How was he to know who he took with him to Parliament? The Defence Manufacturers Association (ADS as was) can not be held liable in any way for not thoroughly checking out its members, even when they did go to Parliament with the DMA bigwigs, including Major General Alan Sharman (retired of course!)?

I have been passed your e-mail message of 22nd November which was addressed to Major General Alan Sharman, CBE, concerning the inclusion of Mr Gary Bolton, of Global Technical, in our Industry team giving oral evidence on ECGD funding to the House of Commons' Trade & Industry Committee on 9th November 1999.

(Who passed you my e-mail to Major General Alan Sharman, CBE - Covering Backside Every time?)

Major General Sharman has, in fact, long since retired (back in the summer of 2007, to be exact), and the DMA no longer exists, but was merged with the Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC) back on 1st October 2009, to form ADS Group Ltd.

(2007 is not really long since is it? In fact it is recent history in many people books. Even if not tactically speaking, certainly strategically! Decisions he and you and others took many years ago are still unwinding today. I mean I bet if we look back at some of his procurement activity in the 1990s that it is still impacting now, just as decisions he took at the DMA probably still resonate, like the echos of explosions, down the years. And let's face it. he is hardly fully retired when he holds at least 4 Company Directorships we know of, plus no doubt other honorary positions. Just because the DMA no longer exists, as you yourself are proof, many of the same people are still around an in charge, so you can hardly divorce yourselves from the past just because you changed your name, now can you!)

However, whilst I was not actually one of the Industry witnesses giving evidence before the Committee on that day, I was present in a supporting function, which is why I have been asked to respond to your query.

(Interesting. Can you be more specific about your role in advance of that meeting and during it? For example, were you solely or partly responsible for selecting Gary Bolton to go with the Maj Gen (retd.) and you before our august Parliament? How was he selected? How many times had you met Gary Bolton before that meeting at the House of Commons' Trade & Industry Committee? Had you ever been introduced to the MOLE or the GT200 prior to the Committee meeting? Are you aware of anyone else at the DMA who had been introduced to the MOLE/GT200 at that time? Did Gary Bolton exhibit the MOLE or GT200 at any DMA sponsored or supported events either before or after 1/10/1999? From/To what dates was Gary Bolton/Global Technical, a member of the DMA? Was Gary Bolton/Global technical ever a member of ADS? Did Gary Bolton serve any official function for the DMA/ADS while a member? We may have more questions later but that will do for now!)

Whilst we now know that Global Technical were one of the commercial entities behind the now thoroughly discredited electrostatic bomb detector phenomenon, this was far from being their only product, (SO WHAT?) and they are also active in the provision of a range of electronic countermeasures systems, digital CCTV systems and training courses, etc, etc which have been successfully sold to customers around the World (some of them Government Embassies, etc), with, to our knowledge, absolutely no reported concerns on the performance of their products and services. Therefore, they were not a single product commercial entity, although now their electrostatic bomb detectors are, of course, what they are particularly synonymous (and infamous) for, but a multi-faceted one, with a wide portfolio of products and services. (BLIMEY READER, I AM BREATHLESS AFTER THAT, ARE YOU? LEGALISTIC BOVINE SCATOLOGY (Thanks to: General Herbert Norman Schwarzkop, also known as "Stormin' Norman" and "The Bear", is a retired United States Army General ! WHO WROTE THAT FOR YOUR YOU BRINLEY? CARTER PLUCK OR A.N.OTHER BUNCH OF STITCH UP MERCHANTS?)

(AGAIN SO WHAT. As we keep saying to David Vollmar at Unival in Germany who sells the HEDD1 (formerly SNIFFEX) variant of the same fraud, he could be an angel otherwise but that does not excuse the major crime he is committing selling known fake explosives detectors! That is such a weak diversionary tactic Brinley! Honestly!! And the main reason they are famous/infamous for their fraudulent - you missed that word out Brinley! You naughty boy!! Spank Spank!! - electrostatic 'explosives' detectors is because we helped expose them in the UK. BUT, someone back in 1999 should have spotted this fraud if anyone who came anywhere near Gary Bolton had a brain that is!)

I am afraid that we lack the in-house technical expertise (and resources) to be able to test ALL of the products (and services) offered by ALL of our Member Companies, to enable us to satisfy ourselves that they all work as advertised, and have to rely on the technical assessments and testing which is undertaken by relevant technical experts from the British Government (eg the UK MoD and/or the Home Office). Their assessments of a range of electrostatic bomb detectors then being marketed by a number of UK firms were only privately provided to us in c.2008/09, when this whole issue came sharply into the public spotlight, and long after the evidence session to which you have referred took place.

(Who bought the issue sharply into the public spotlight? We did! But see also James Randi below. You Poor Things! Thousands of members selling billions of arms and they can't do some simple background checks on their members, even when they take them to Parliament to whinge for money! Ho Ho!! What information did the MOD/British Government provide you privately in 2008/2009? Why do you think they did so privately? Who provided that information? Why did it then take until 2009 for MOD/ADS etc to request Global Technical remove all references to accreditation? There was plenty of evidence of the swivelling aerial fraud available on the Internet even back in 1999. See James Randi and the Quadro Tracker. Doesn't it seem odd to you that no one in the Defence Industry, MOD, Government, Royal Engineers apparently spotted this for a long time? We can't identify when the UK Government/MOD/Royal Engineers/DMA actually pulled the rug on Bolton, but it looks like it coukd have been 2004 when the support stopped. We ask why? And if someone had discovered it was a fraud back then why didn't they say something? Either way a lot of lives could have been saved by now! See where we are coming from Tweedledum and Tweedledummer?)

We had been seeking to include in our evidence team at least one representative of the UK's Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) sector, who was actively involved in the exports arena, so that this vitally important sector of UK Industry's voice and views could be seen to be heard on the issue of ECGD financial export support, and Gary provided that view. (see above i.e how was Bolton selected/by whom etc?) (Major General Sharman) Some of the small companies do export a niche product which does not fall naturally into the cascading down from a major platform—low level equipment, hand held equipment and so on. What, I suppose, would be possible, although it might be resource demanding for ECGD, would be, perhaps, to pull together a number of small companies' efforts and give cover to a package of support. I could envisage that from our own experience and some of our special interest groups where companies with comparable and complementary products work together. We have a very good example in a subgroup within the DMA called NBC UK, which make respirators and masks, hand held detectors and so on. They found that actually they are more effective if they go and market together than if they try and do it apart and compete with each other. I could imagine ECGD having the flexibility to cover a package like that.

49. Mr Bolton, can you tell us the kind of sums that you were talking about, which seem not to reach the glass ceiling, as it were? What does your business do? Global Technical covers a multitude of activities, one would imagine.

(Mr Bolton) Basically the main push we have now is a new type of drugs and explosives detection system. We had a potential order for £60,000 for a number of units, that would have kept me going for a couple of years, but because the only way forward for funding was through letters of credit that were discounted by the bank it got extremely complicated and that is not what the client wanted. It is a relatively small amount and, okay, I accept that there are ceilings with that amount of work that have to be involved in getting to that stage. Small amounts are what keep us in business for a long time and help us expand our market. Because most of it is export it is extremely expensive, so an order of that size would help us market a much wider area and therefore generate more income.

YOU SEE FOLKS!? DO YOU SEE? Both Major General Alan Sharman (retd. thank goodness!) and Brinley Salzmann try to suggest that the meeting had nothing to do with products. Of course, given the advantage of 20:20 hindsight with which we are all blessed, the inclusion of Gary on our evidence team might be viewed now as having been unfortunate.

The similarity to reference-card devices is only based on a similar shape. (The similarity is because they are the same ideomotor dowsing con! We at the Fake Explosives Detectors Campaign are always honoured to be contacted by people of stature and standing, and today we bring you a letter from Major-General Alan Sharman (retd.), in response to our email to him (see post below).

Now, as we know, Major-General Alan Sharman (retd.) had a very distinguished career. First with the British Army in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, then as Director General Land Systems UK Ministry of Defence Government Agency, then as Director General Defence Manufacturers Association, and latterly as a Director of at least four companies, all apparently with defence industry interests (we may have missed something out. No doubt he will correct us if so).

As always, we at the Fake Explosives Detectors Campaign like to try to ensure that there is no room for misunderstanding or error, by omission or diversion. hence we have, as is our tedious way, analysed and commented on the letter Major-General Alan Sharman (retd.)

It would be good if he would respond to our substantive points and questions, particularly as we have some new information that might be quite embarrassing to him and his old DMA colleagues, if he does not do so.

I understand that you have made an enquiry via the MIRA Ltd website about Mr Gary Bolton.

I was quite unaware of your campaign or of your interest in Gary Bolton until receipt of your enquiry. (Had you heard anything about the Fake Explosives Detectors scandal before our email? Perhaps via Newsnight? Or in your defence industry circles? If so, did you recall Gary Bolton, Global Technical, your visit to Parliament with him, or anything at all about your or the DMA involvement with him?) Further I have had no involvement with Mr Bolton since the occasion when he accompanied me, in 1999, as part of a team giving evidence to the Parliamentary Trade and Industry Committee. The team consisted of myself and representatives of a large, medium and small company (Bolton was from the small one) and the subject of the Committee's investigation related solely to the matter of Export Credit Guarantees. The meeting had nothing to do with company products or their technology. (Who was responsible for selecting Gary Bolton of Global Technical to attend the meeting of the PTIC from amongst the DMA membership, from which there was presumably many possible such small companies to choose from? When you say the meeting had nothing to do with company products or their technology, do you mean it was to discuss the issue of ECGs in reference to air? Or, perhaps in splendid isolation from the products themselves? Do you mean that no products or technologies were mentioned at the meeting?)

I had no knowledge then nor since as to the technical nature of Bolton's device, nor would any other member of my 25 staff in the DMA. (You only have to Google!)Obviously, as a Trade Association with hundreds of members large and small, the staff could not possibly know about the technical provenance or otherwise of the thousands of products produced by our members. (Not one of the DMA staff or other members once encountered or were told about the miraculous MOLE or GT200 during his membership? Or if they did see it or hear about it, didn't ask even the smallest of questions? If I was an ex-military man, say REME, who must be interested in working in safe environments cleared of explosive devices, I think my ears would prick up at a new, previously unknown detector available on the market, from a respectable UK firm!?) We, of course, always tried to verify the business integrity of our members but this could not possibly extend to testing and verifying their products.(Maybe a bit more self regulation would have been good - damn, of course, self-regulation never works! Wonder if ADS checks out its members more carefully now as a result of learning the Global Technical GT200 lesson? Do you think they should?)

I retired from the DMA in 2007. (Yes, Retirement always excuses past failures doesn't it!) I note from your own web site the comment that thanks to your campaign the record that Global Technical were members of the DMA and APPSS etc. was pulled down in about 2007. (Later than that we recall, but hey, let's not split hairs! We can always check! And again, does that excuse the fact that they were allowed to continue for so long trading on your so called good names despite the fact that it was public knowledge on the internet many years before that these devices are a fraud! And do you know Col, John Wyatt (retd. ) of SDS? Have a word with him about the history of SNIFFEX and the HEDD1 frauds! He should know. He tried selling them here to your and his ex-Army colleagues as late as last year!) In fact the DMA and APPSS were disbanded late in that year and merged with the SBAC to become A|D|S. (So what? And we all know that re-naming and re-branding often has a purpose!) I am not aware of whether Global Technical were or are still members of A|D|S.(Too late. They wormed their way in with members of the defence establishment, no doubt in no small way thanks due to your handholding!)

Finally, retired as I now am, my influence on defence and security affairs is very limited (We do not believe this. You are still an active Director of at least four companies we know of in the Defence Industry, and we are sure your contacts book is still chock full of the great and the good, so we expect that you are at least a tad embarrassed by your former association with a filthy little fraudster like Gary Bolton, and like us will call publicly and via your contacts for proper action. To include, Bolton, McCormick, and their associates to go down. Their blood money recovered. And the Government to finally impose a full Worldwide export ban and make a bigger fuss to stop the continued use of these things in places like Mexico and Thailand. And for the UK Government Officials who supported this fraud to be brought to book. We think that is a fair list of demands for all the blown up people you and your friends have helped create, wittingly or not!) but I am confident that if those currently in the Army and the MoD believe the Bolton product is a fraud then they will be taking appropriate action with regard to exports and domestic purchases. (They are not, hence our kind requests for your assistance, as a man of honour, who will no doubt acknowledge his mistakes, and help correct them, even if they were unintentional!) If, as you suggest, the products are completely ineffective (to the point of being fraudulent) WE ARE NOT THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO SUGGEST THIS AND IT IS NOT 'IF'. COME ON MAJ. GEN! then I am amazed that the Army bought them; they normally test everything to the extreme. (We do not know if the Army bought any, but it would be very interesting if they did. What we do know is that they helped promote them, and apparently the Royal Engineers tested the MOLE and said it worked - who knows how? We sent this email yesterday to the various companies that Major General Sharman (retd.) holds Directorships with, in the hope that they will be good enough to pass it on. Just in case it does not reach him that way, here is that email, so that he cannot say he did not know about our cordial invitation. R.S.V.P. Let us see if he does.....

Dear Mr. Sharman,

You will no doubt be aware that we have an interest in Gary Bolton of Global Technical, for having corruptly sold the MOLE and GT200 fake detectors in places like Thailand and Mexico.

You may recall you took Gary Bolton with you on Tuesday the 9th of November 1999 before the Trade and Industry Committee at the Houses of Parliament to give evidence on, ECGD:

It would be most informative to know how much you knew about Mr Bolton and his 'miraculous' device, prior to that meeting?

Did you or anyone else at the DMA ever question how a radio aerial could detect explosives, or ask for concrete proof? If not, why not? If so, when?

We hope that now you are fully aware of the issues, you will publicly support a call for a Worldwide ban on Exports, and further efforts by the British Government to prevent the ongoing use of these dangerous and deadly devices?

A piper plays the Last Post. In memory of those who served, and in honour of those who serve now!

We here at the Fake Explosives Detectors Campaign wish this was our last post! But somehow we feel this is unlikely!

I have used the Last Post title deliberately. If you do not know, The Last Post can be either a bugle call within British Infantry regiments or a cavalry trumpet call in British Cavalry and Royal Regiment of Artillery (Royal Horse Artillery and Royal Artillery) used at Commonwealth military funerals and ceremonies commemorating those who have been killed in war. And we certainly do commemorate and celebrate our heroes.

On the other hand, we denigrate and demolish the villains involved in the fake detectors scam trade.

Now, why should this be our last post?

Because Techo and I have summarised our key reasons why every one of these swivelling aerial cons are indeed that i.e. pure, knowing, deliberate frauds on the part of the sellers, and either corruption or stupidity on the part of the buyers.

This should be the end of the matter because the fraudsters have no rational answers to these points at all.

1. The 'IF IT WAS REAL' clincher.

If you really had a 'miracle' product that could detect explosives, drugs, people, ivory, guns etc (all claims made by the various fraud variants), then becoming a multi-billionaire would be a very simple matter. All you would need to do is take it to M.I.T., or another reputable institution (Sandia National labs?), and have them run properly controlled double blind testing, under a strict confidentiality agreement regarding the design and workings..

Having received the positive, glowing report that the device works as claimed, all one would have to do is get the investment to ensure as full Worldwide patent protection as possible (this would be easy money to find if the product is indeed the 'miraculous' World saving device claimed).

Then set up manufacturing. Put out a Press Release detailing that MIT or a.n.other had endorsed your 'miracle', and watch the orders roll in.

Imagine, an almost overnight end to terrorism. To drug smuggling etc etc. Don't you think everyone would have one? Well, at least just about every member of the Police, the Armed Forces and the Security Personnel.

You would be hailed as a saviour of the World. get very rich, very quickly, and be a total hero for finding such a device. Just imagine, you could be as rich as Croesus, and give away a hell of a lot too. I imagine the positions of Carlos Slim, Bill Gates, and Warren Buffett at the top of the World's rich lists would be under threat!

But NO. Not one of the fraudsters will agree to independent testing, despite claiming they have secret test results they cannot show anybody. Some have agreed to take tests, but then they back out or go quiet. Why would that be? And no, it is not because of commercial confidentiality which they sometimes claim! It is because we all know that they cannot risk proper testing. Whenever proper testing has been done e.g. Quadro Tracker, Sniffex, DKL Lifeguard, HEDD1, MOLE, GT200, ADE651, it has shown these devices to perform no better than chance, as predicted due to the total lack of credible working principles.

And, of course, they all have lots of satisfied (read bribed or plain stupid) customers, but can't or won't tell us who these customers are. Now, if you were a buyer of a 'miracle' why would you want to stay quiet. Let's say you were a Country whose Police had bought these devices. Wouldn't you want everyone to know you had them? Wouldn't that be a marvellous deterrent? OF COURSE IT WOULD! So why the secrecy? Or is it embarrassment and trying to cover up corrupt purchasing that motivates these customers to stay in the shadows?

So, you either get fabulously wealthy if it is true, and go down in history as a great man, or you must be a lying, fraudulent scumbag...You decide!

2. The 'SHUT THE FAKE DETECTORS CAMPAIGN UP' clincher.

I have said that if anyone of the fraudsters could reasonably prove that their 'miracle' device works, I would run down Oxford Street naked screaming that the detectors are the greatest things since sliced bread. I would proclaim it from every roof top. Techo has promised to eat his vast collection of hats as well!

But, instead of producing any credible evidence or proof, the fraudsters make hollow legal threats, bluster about pseudo scientific claims, ask us to visit them for personal demos, move offices, try to hide in the dark corners (see Gary Bolton laying sort of low in Kent except we found him! Unlike the Police who are supposed to be investigating him!), make more hollow legal threats, admit we are damaging their oh so brave efforts to sell their fakes to save lives (F**K OFF GARY, JIM, DAVID etc. SAVING LIVES! HO HO! YOU REALLY DO LIKE TO BOTTOM FEED DON'T YOU!), pretend we are nobodies who are just causing trouble, claim we work for competitors, and many more excuses/diversions straight out of the Fraudsters Bible of Excuses e.g. The testing was unfair!.

Anything except provide real evidence and proof. We have been at this campaign for over three years now. NOT AN IOTA OF PROOF OR EVIDENCE HAS BEEN PROVIDED BY THE FRAUDSTERS, DESPITE JAMES RANDI (JREF Million Dollar Challenge) AND US CALLING THEM OUT ON THIS FREQUENTLY!

So, you decide. If you were selling a 'miracle', and had the evidence to shut up your critics instantly (actually more than that by making the critics your biggest fans and make them grovel in apology as we would!), who you admit are damaging your business, wouldn't you do it, instead of claiming that you can but won't? DOH!

3. The 'WHY DO THEY FOCUS SALES EFFORTS IN DODGY PARTS OF THE WORLD' clincher.

We know that despite a few attempts to sell the fraud in the U.S., U.K., and Western Europe, the fraudsters soon learned that their most lucrative markets are ones where corruption is rife. Where the question of whether the 'miracle' works tends to be forgotten in favour of how much they can line their own pockets on the deal. The majority of known sales have been to Iraq, Thailand and Mexico. can you see the common denominator? Yes, all riddled with corruption.

Of course selling closer to home would be cheaper and easier. Then, having sold in vast quantity to the U.K., U.S. and Western Europe, you would simply expand out from there and just about every Country in the World would get some in darned quick!

4. The 'HAVE NEVER, WILL NEVER, CANNOT, AND DO NOT WORK' clincher.

As above, whenever these fraudulent devices have been tested properly they have failed. There is no credible scientific basis for all the various ludicrous claims they make (see MED, NQR, THERMO-REDUX, ELECTROSTATIC ATTRACTION etc etc). Don't believe me! Believe Prof. Sidney Alford, Prof. Bruce Hood, Dale Murray at Sandia National Labs, Colonel Hal Bidlack (retd), The JREF etc etc etc etc etc etc.

As above, the fraudsters have had ample opportunity to shut us up if they could. Have they done so? NO! Why not?

So, do you see now why this should be our last post? Of course! If the fraudsters could prove their case, they would have done so by now. After all, they make the claims so they should prove them or shut up! We don't have to prove anything really. But the issues above are all the proof one should need for these fraudsters to be jailed, their money confiscated and the Fake Explosives Detectors Campaign could be disbanded. Believe us, we wish that were the case (despite the fact that we would almost certainly find another fraud to go after. After all, there is a sucker and a fraud born every minute!)

But, being ever the realists, we realise that this is not going to be the end just yet, until the British Government and Police get their arses in gear and sort the mess out! When that might happen is anyones guess! Of course, we also need the German Government to close down Unival (HEDD1), the U.S. Government to close down H3Tec, and hopefully then the Thais, Mexicans and anyone else who has bought this con will finally stop using the damn things! There are some minor mopping up operations as well (e.g. Greece shutting down Diodebell with their AL-6D), but if we get the bigger players they should all follow as the house of cards collapses under them.

We are just left with the same old question. Why is nothing apparently being done to really shut down this trade? MR PRICK IN THE UK GOVERNMENT - ANY ANSWERS?

DECONSTRUCTING HEDD1

Got bored of the pictures of David Vollmar and Frank Trier, so thought you ought to take a look at the HEDD1 (Formerly SNIFFEX, AND SNIFFEX PLUS). Do I hear sniffing? Laughing?

Sadly, like Frank Trier, this one does not have its' radio aerial extended and at right angles to the very nicely designed hand grip/

Now, Vollmar and Trier at Unival claim it works by MED - Magneto-Electrostatic-Detection. More like MAD - Mutually Assured Destruction! Different they say from the reference card versions of the same fraud, like the ADE651 and the GT200.

Of course it is different. Can't have too many varieties of the fraud in exactly the same disguise can we! But the aerial is the same. HOHO!! And we all know what a radio aerial is really good for. YEP. Picking up radio signals. In fact the HEDD1 could come in useful if your aerial breaks on your radio, but not much else. Maybe a nose pick? perhaps we should have a competition to see what real uses these useless detectors could be put to.

Of course, there are no credible physics behind this baloney. Remember Jim and his flipping between Thermo Redux and NQR, and of course "It's a bit like dowsing." HOHOHOHOHOHO

Course the HEDD1 was originally the SNIFFEX invented by that ugly mofo Yuri Markov, of Sofia, Bulgaria. Remember he set up SNIFFEX Inc in the U.S.A. Ramped and hyped the shares, then with a number of others got away with an estimated $32 Million Dollars.

Now this is the same Yuri Markov from whom David Vollmar bough the SNIFFEX licence. Then renamed it SNIFFEX PLUS. Now HEDD1. So, that's the potted history of the apparent 20 year development of this 'miracle' product. So why are you still not a billionaire David? Why doesn't every one have them? terrorism and war would be nearly over if it worked. So why the secrecy about the buyers and the tests?

Now if you think that we will stop writing counter-statements against your glorious group of 3 to 4 people that anonymously terrorize our company and products, you are wrong. Only because our lawyers have strongly advised not to waste any time with a legal fight against your anonymous group (Because you would have to prove your product works. Of course your lawyers tell you you have no case because we are right. Otherwise you would try to get us legally because we are damaging you business and the dumbass HEDD1, like we did when you had to change the name of SNIFFEX!), we are mostly ignoring you. Google does not take action against defamation, (Not true if you get a legal injunction! You are fibbing again!) and as you are all hiding behind pseudonyms, there is currently not much to do. However, whenever there is a real chance, we will take legal measures immediately.(Yet another legal threat, booooooring. This is the third from David and Unival, but still no sign!)

Again, and i am repeating my self: HEDD1 and all products based on the MED method are completely different to reference card devices and cannot be compared accordingly. Our devices are highly accepted by governmental agencies around the world, (Without one shred of independent evidence that they work? Come on. One of your so called 'Government Ciustomers' must be proud that they bought HEDD! if it is working as well as you claim?. Why wouldn't they all want everyone to know they have the marvellous HEDD1 if it works so well? Wouldn't that be a good deterrent? And why are the tests you claim so secret? Wouldn't you sell a lot more if they are real tests?) who have tested and approved our methodology and our devices (by taking bribes and are very reluctant to support you publicly, why is that???) Our technology is a highly legitimate and important approach to detect explosives from a safe distance. (Why don't you prove it then? How many times have we asked? How many times have you promised real testing? How many have you done so far? Where? When? How? Who?) There is currently no alternative to our technology that works in real-life scenarios in any comparable way. (None of the swivelling aerial frauds work! Yours included!)

There has been no legal claim against our company and products up to today. (How many times must we ask? Do those taken in by scams admit their stupidity? Do those corrupted admit it willingly?) There has never been any ban on our products. Our reputation in the industry and with our clients is absolutely flawless. (So why don't you take the RANDI JREF Million Dollar Challenge as you promised to do so with your previous fraud, the hilarious Sniffex Plus. That promise was now about 2.5 years ago now!)

Obviously, you will continue to ignore such facts (You have no facts. You have put forward useless anecdotal non-evidence to date. Please supply REAL facts then we will talk, but we bet ya it will never happen. How much? We bet a Million Dollars! Ho Ho!) and will keep on libeling us on your self-pleasing guerrilla crusade. Actually I lie.There is loads of evidence. e.g. Quadro Tracker was properly tested and examined by the FBI back in about 1997, and shown to be useless. Mind you, it took James Randi to hound them into sorting out the Quadro Tracker. after all, seems various FBI offices and Police forces, let alone School districts had been conned by it. Another of those similarities folks i.e. everywhere these dodgy devices go, public officials are either bribed or fooled into buying or supporting them Does that say something about how good a radio aerial on a swivel fraud is, or the general corruption and incompetence of public officials almost everywhere?

Anyway, then James McCormick and Robert Balais took the MOLE to Sandia Labs and it failed. Then Sniffex (now HEDD1) failed in the U.S. at Yuma in tests by the US Navy. Then in further properly controlled double blind testing. There are of course other cases where reasonable testing has been carried out and these scams have utterly failed, as they surely will. We know people inGermany who hate David Vollmar and will help bring him down. He hasripped people off for a lot of money. Reports suggest that David isan idiot in a suit. Maybe David has used family money. Poor them!

Not long ago there wasa court case against David´s Pakistani partner, Murtaza Lakhani, whostole millions from the Iraqis (bit like James McCormick then!) Davidbetrayed his German partners. At the court hearing David appearedtired, stressed and gaunt.

We understand that Bonnis not a big city, and that the reputation of Vollmar is alreadyalmost nul points there. Still, he toy soldiers on, and desperatelytries to diversify his business, as we destroy the chances of HEDD1ever selling again, anywhere.

Vollmars attempt atlateral integration in the security sector is Reinhard Landmann, aformer BKA operative, who is 70 plus now. He was well connected until10 years ago but due to his age and the fact that all of his contactsat the BKA retired at the same time, he no longer has access todecision-makers. Some people find him annoying as he keeps on tellingthe same old stories. However, we believe he is most likely notinvolved in the HEDD1 scam. As far as we can discover he is freelanceand is not employed by Unival. Landmann runs his own one-man-show andoffers his services to whoever pays him. He therefore cannot affordto be too critical and does not ask questions.

So, despite the strangeand parallel (another one of those parallels - damn things keeppopping up like frauds) lack of apparent official German actionagainst Vollmar, Unival and HEDD1, it seems we can chalk up moreserious success to the FEDC (Fake Explosives Detectors Campaign) i.e.massive disruption of Vollmar and his pathetic Frank Trier puppet andthe HEDD1/SNIFFEX they bought from Yuri Markov. What's that make thescore to us Techo? I lose track.

What are we trying to achieve? Well, a complete end to the disgusting trade in fake explosives detectors, largely perpetrated by your boyfriend and his ex-friend James McCormick, sadly from this country. Also their arrest and substantial incarceration, preferably in the countries they sold to. Then the recovery of as much of the blood money as possible, except what you and Gary and Jim have spent already. Plus the naming, shaming and perhaps prosecution of those who negligently helped them, failed to stop them when they should have, and have taken far too long to stop them. Also those who have benefited from the money, like you perhaps, dear Carly, dear Carly.

We also want to leave a small legacy of how a dumb and obvious fraud can spread like wildfire, and cost many lives, limbs and dollars. A small pinprick on the vast balloon of stupidity, corruption and greed that goes on.

We wrote to BIFA (The British International Freight Association) regarding the close association of Ms Wickens and her company, Consignments Worldwide, to Gary Bolton of GT200 fame, and Global Technical, his company.

For anyone who does not know yet, Carly Wickens is the mistress of Gary Bolton, and has enjoyed his largesse, or blood money as we like to call it. She is the Director of Consignments Worldwide, which works for Global Technical. By the admission of Ms. Wickens, she has worked for Global Technical for two years. She does not deny helping export the GT200, either before or after she formally started this ill-starred relationship (certainly not Bonnie and Clyde!)

Ms. Wickens wriggles and squirms. We have done our usual dissection job on each of her emails. Sorry if it gets tedious, but it becomes part of the record.

Of course, Gary still fails to come out to defend himself. Trying to hide in the shadows, but, like his GT200, failing. Still, he spends his blood money merrily. And come on Carly, don't try to pretend you didn't know any of this ages ago! Is he any good in bed as well as being loaded with filthy, corrupt money. What a bonus if he is! But we doubt Gary is a real man. In fact, we know he is not!

So, in another of her emails she says that she will not defend herself. Then that she cannot defend herself. yet she puts out this statement, apparently designed to defend herself. Do you think she is a bit muddled headed? Or scared that because she helped Gary Bolton with his fraud, and shared his bed and blood money, that she is panicking a bit?

Consignments Worldwide ltd have had Global Technical ltd as a client for only two years now and have been made aware in the last year that there is an investigation into the sale of explosives detectors. (So elsewhere you claim you have letters from the Police and an unnamed Solicitor saying that you have nothing to do with Global Technical Limited, but here you admit you have worked with them for two years! Which is it? You then say that you have been made aware of investigations into the sale of explosives detectors. Funny you don't mention your boyfriends product, the GT200, by name. When exactly were you made aware? By whom? Have you continued to enjoy Garys money since you were made aware? Are you seriously saying that you did not know before last year that the GT200 was a fake and a fraud? Gary knew years ago. Are you really that dumb that you see a radio aerial and think it can detect explosives? Most people are bribed to believe it. You must have had a few good dinners on it by now. And First Class all the way, or maybe just Business. Poor dear!)

Currently there are export restrictions of these types of products to Iraq and Afghanistan only. There are no other legal restrictions. (As above. We do not care. There should be. Every decent person knows this. Why not will be solved, as will your sorry ass! And in saying this you admit full well you know that is your only possible defence. But, a defence in the mysterious omissions of others is no real defence at all.)

In addition, while there is an investigation in process we have informed Global Technical ltd that we are not prepared to handle these goods. (So, you have handled them in the past. When did you tell Global Technical about this? Did you tell Gary in bed? Over breakfast? On holiday? In the bath? At a fancy restaurant? In the new car? So, you must know there is something wrong with the GT200 i.e. everything! And only stopped shipping them for Gary when the news came out in public, to try to save your reputation, if you ever had one. BUT you still ate, drank and enjoyed the blood money before and now didn't ya!)

Previously to Consignments Worldwide ltd handling the shipping for Global Technical Ltd this function was carried out for 12 years by Seabrook Air Services Ltd without incident. (So what, except it helps us to trace another route Gary used to export his deadly fraudulent SH1TE!)

We have carried out our due diligence and ensured any goods shipped on behalf of Global Technical Ltd conform to all government guidelines and the terms of BIFFA to which we operate under. (Oh yeah. Just as all the fraudsters like Gary have claimed secret evidence for their cons, you claim due diligence. You wouldn't know due diligence if it slapped you on your arse. You can barely spell or string a sentence together! Which Government Guidelines would those be? The ones that say that Gary paid Royal Engineers to demonstrate his fraud perhaps? Or Terms of BIFA - One 'F' I think dear, but then you should know because you are a member.)

We have asked Global Technical ltd for a statement regarding the investigation and that we are not involved in any such dealings with the Police. (Why? Aren't your claimed letters from the Police and a Solicitor not sufficient? Again, when did you tell Global Technical this? While you and Gary were watching a movie together, or during the helicopter trip in Monaco? Come on Carly. Stop pretending you don't know Gary very well indeed! And when do we expect that statement? Gary doesn't seem to like the limelight, even if he does like the high life. Or do we hear from Carter Fuck next? HoHo!).

The police have not involved us in any part of the investigation and as far as we understand Global Technical Ltd directors have not been charged, the company has not been closed down or any charges made against anyone involved with this matter. (And all very odd much of what you say here is too! Believe me. Those problems are being worked on! But it does not get you out of having previously at least exported the killer GT200, and lived off the profits very nicely too, some might say!)

We have been the innocent victims of an Internet campaign to which we have nothing to do with in an attempt to discredit my company. We are not a cover for Global Technical ltd, or involved in any illegal activities. This is just a smear campaign (Again that English Carly! Tried Evening classes? Of course you have nothing to do with our campaign. We agree! We are not trying to discredit your Company. As a Limited Company, it is a legal entity of itself. We do not discredit Companies. Down here at Gotham City the Police Force is all in a dither. Commissioner Loeb doesn't know whether he is coming or going. Meanwhile the Mayor is caught up in all sorts of political scandals and is frankly useless.

The Police keep arresting the wrong people. The Mayors office does nothing. Meanwhile people are dying, and the Jokers are getting away with it!

We need Batman and Robin! Because even a man and a boy who wear their underpants outside their lycra might be able to do better.

Meanwhile, at the august and not so august offices of the major newspapers in Gotham, there is also a lot of running about chasing tails. Some Editors and Proprietors are trying to cover up their own corruption and misdeeds. Others are trying to get the story straight but are being frustrated as the Police target the latter pointlessly, or perhaps for reasons of their own CYA purposes?

And the Police go on arresting the wrong people, selling or giving stories tto the papers they really have no business doing, or cocking up their investigations, or not doing anything, and wasting a lot of the Gotham City Taxpayers money, while the other Jokers and Riddlers and Penguins all get away!

Here at the campaign we do sometimes ponder on this question?

The trouble is it is very hard to know sometimes!

You see, out there, on the streets, and in the battlefield, we have some extraordinarily brave men and women, doing their damndest to keep us safe. A big salute to all of them!

And a big raspberry to those who fail in their duty because they have been dumb as all F**K, or corrupt.

I know a man called Techowiz who has more cojones in his little finger than that lot put together. Yet he just does not get the recognition, respect, or deference from some he deserves! Yes, You know who. You naughty little boys and girls! To know of whom I speak GO WEST!

Back to the Guardian. Today, headline, was the story about the Attorney General, Dominic Grieve (Grievous Legal Harm?) potentially using the Official Secrets Act to force the Guardian to reveal its sources on the phone hacking scandal. Yeah right. use an act supposed to protect the Country to protect your own arse. Good move! NOT!

Now why would the Government and Police go after the wrong target? I BLOODY WONDER?! NOT!

Perhaps to cover up their own embarrassment for being so far up Rupert Murdochs arse he only had to fart and they did what he told them? Or because he was paying them? Either while in office, or soon after they left? Or because the Police were giving and selling stories to Murdoch and the gutter press for years? Or because the gutter press were blackmailing politicians and police if they had been caught being naughty with boys, girls or drugs? Or because they need to divert attention away from the expenses scandal and the fact that their mates have been getting lighter sentences for ripping off more than the rioters? Or because they may be liable for compensation?

OR BECAUSE THEY ARE A SPINELESS BUNCH OF MORONS?

Meanwhile Cameron and his cronies pontificate about a broken society where respect has been lost, and rioters arre mere criminals who need a good slap!

Riddle me that my little chickadees!

Some of us have been having some interesting discussions recently regarding contracts and what they mean.

It seems that Andres Tonini in Mexico has managed to get some official investigations under way into the GT200. At last! Well done Andres for your tenacity and courage!! We salute you!! Funny thing is, he reckons that Gary Bolton at Global Technical is relying on his sales contracts to protect him against such intrusions.

Seems his contracts forbid anyone to open up the GT200 to see what is inside. Commercial Confidentiality, he claims! Ho Ho x 1000 (my bottom just dropped off!).

We have previoulsy pointed out the various ways in which Bolton and McCormick seem to be joined at their pea sized brains.

Let me remind you, Jim McCormick and Gary Bolton used to be best buddies. They worked together to sell the MOLE, remember. And yes you boys in blue, we told you that!

Remember when Jim and Gary fell out because Jim and their US buddy, Robert Balais, took the MOLE to Sandia Labs, without telling Gary. Naturally the MOLE failed the tests at Sandia Labs, and Gary was mad because obviouly he knew it would fail. Why? Because he knew full well it was a fraud!

So, there was an acrimonious parting of the ways, allowing Gary to go on to the GT200, and Jim to the ADE651.

So, back to the issue of Terms and Conditions and Contracts.

First, it is highly instructive to read the so called T&Cs of both ATSC and Global Technical. one might be drawn to conclude that they were the same. Well, hardly surprising when Jim clearly just copied Gary!! And finer bs we are hard pressed to recall!

Read and weep!! They effectively disclaim any effectiveness for the GT200 and ADE651. They attempt to indemnify the companies from any liability for the failure so obviously written in to them. They implicitly admit that the products do not work.

Therefore we can safely conclude that both Gary and Jim knew full well all along that their useless $10 dollar gadgets were exactly that. USELESS! And since they have killed and maimed people as a result you wonder why we are angry?

Let me make this plain. The idea that the GT200 or ADE651 have any legal protection is a nonsense. A contract is null and void if the product cannot or does not perform, even if you have tried to tie knots in the contract. A contract can no longer exist if one partner has deliberately and recklessly deceived the other. SIMPLES!! Even a meerkat knows dat!

You cannot contract against the reasonable expectation that if you claim something will do something, then there is a a duty to deliver something fit for purpose. As we know the GT200 and ADE651, plus all other variants are not capable of operating at all.

BUT! Let me remind friend and foe alike (hello Colin!), the buyers in places like Mexico, Thailand and Iraq, didn't care about whether these scum devices worked, or the contracts. Why? Because they were all lining their own pockets. Worse than selling stories to the media perhaps, but many have their moral crosses to bear in situations like this. And we will make you bear them!! To your own place of execution!!

As you know, I also adore finding the similarities in behaviour between the different fraudsters. This reminds me of Chuck Christensen at H3tec in Utah, who also tried to threaten a customer with contractual confidentiality, when said customer realised that his H3Tec did not perform. Luckily their are brave people like Carl, who do not take this bullshit, and went ahead and took the H3Tec apart to prove once and for all what we had been saying for ages i.e. it does not and cannot work. Spot the similarity?

MIRA TELECOM ADDENDUM

We'll start with one of our favourite pictures from the rogues gallery. here we have from left to right: Dragos Basmaluta, CEO Mira Telecom, Stelian Ilie, Head of Mira Telecom, Mrs General Pierre Hadji Georgiou, James McCormick of ATSC, and General Pierre Hadji Georgiou of Prosec in Lebanon. So, just to be clear before we begin, this is a picture of McCormick, who is as yet un charged for his fraudulent business, with two of his main associates together. The poster next to them is for the ADE651 and is marketing material from Prosec.

We would like to highlight that the letter from Stelian Ilie CEO of Mira (see Techo blog article) was the result of the campaign actively attacking his business.

Specifically we know that James McCormick of ATSC and ADE651 fame established close relationships with Mira Telecom (an apparently otherwise respectable mobile phone infrastructure outfit based in Romania ...well, apart from Romania always rings warning bells!)

We know that Mira Telecom were marketing the ADE651 and we know they sold units to Constanza Airport, and possibly elsewhere. We know that McCormick invested in Mira and was a Director of at least a subsidiary of the holding company.

We know that the relationship was close. McCormick was pictured at the Mira holiday home in Austria.

We therefore know that McCormick invested some of his bloody millions from Iraq in Mira in Romania. The records show this.

The campaign attacked in a number of ways. Techo went after the media in Romania and succeeded in getting a couple of exposes published there.

Others sent out copious emails to suppliers and business partners of Mira around the World. We know that this resulted in a number of suppliers and partners terminating realtionships with Mira because of the clear and ongoing involvement with McCormick and the ADE651.

We know that we warned Stelian as early as very early 2009 about the ADE651 and McCormick. We know he got these warnings because he responded, more than once, with, amongst other bluster and bullshit, hollow legal threats (see again his letter on Techos blog. I believe this was our third or fourth legal threat from Stelian over three years. We have still heard nothing! May I also remind you of our other so far unseen legal threats from Chuck Christensen, H3Tec, Utah; David Vollmar, Unival Germany and his HEDD1 aka Sniffex; Diodebell and theirAL-6D; James McCormick; and Gary Bolton of Global Technical).

So, even at his own admission the relationship between Mira and James McCormick ended in March 2010. So he admits that it existed! We believe this was more like October 2010. and he fails to mention when the relationship started! Nor does he justify their clear and close involvement with promotion of the ADE651 despite all calls for them to verify its validity independently at least! The same challenge we continue to offer up to all the charlatans, knowing they cannot accept!!

So, unlike some others we could mention, we have seriously disrupted a significant arm of the McCormick empire via an internet campaign. We should add that we have notified Romanian authorities repeatedly. We hope one day they may wake up too!!

I would like to make absolutely clear that neither I, nor any of the people who have contributed to the campaign against the Fake Explosives Detectors are, to the best of my knowledge, conspiracy nuts!

As we hope has been clear, we originally picked up the story from James Randi, a leading light of the skeptical movement, whose organisation has made clear its disdain for the 9/11 conspiracy, amongst others.

In the latest posting on randi.org (James Randi Educational Foundation site), he points to an article in the US Skeptic magazine, a most erudite journal. In this article the 9/11 conspiracy theories are effectively demolished in short order. I have always despised the fools who have fallen for all the Zeitgeist, all encompassing conspiracy theory.

Ve haf our sources...No not tomato!!!

We have learned a most interesting thing. I confess we have sources in a number of places who are equally upset about the trade in fake explosives detectors that has cost many lives, many limbs, much grief and heartache, much damage and loss to property, and much gain to the corrupt feckers who sold them (see below ad nauseam!)

We have learned that Police sources in the UK have claimed that the campaign we have been running for over three years against the disgusting British companies who sold these frauds knowingly, has hindered their investigations. HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO HO

LMAO. ROFL. LMDO (work it out!). Well, ironically anyway!!

Let us make this plain. Without this campaign and its leading light, the authorities in this country would know virtually nothing about the perpetrators of this murderous trade. And what have those authorities achieved in over 3 years. Apparently virtually NOTHING! Except of course some wild goose chasing, or arsehole gazing.

What has the campaign achieved in this time? Answers below or on a postcard please. In contrast to the authorities and their claims of us hindering them. PLONKERS!

1. Seriously disrupted the business of the criminals involved in selling these fake devices at ludicrously inflated prices in countries where bribery and corruption are rifer than here.

2. Had the perpetrators twisting and turning trying to respond to, or legally threaten , or even at times cajole us into backing off. We have gathered reams of evidence of their lies, and their distortions, and their pathetic attempts to justify themselves. But best of all to contradict themselves into knots so tight there should be no escape. Except of course from the keystone cops!!! Ho Ho!!

3. Got the main perpetrators clearly identified. Their connections clearly identified. Where their money is largely pointed out.

4. SAVED LIVES!

LET ME MAKE IT CLEAR TO THE DEAF AMONGST YOU! ONCE AND FOR ALL.

The guilty parties are James McCormick and Gary Bolton, and all their associates who either corruptly or through greed or sheer stupidity aided and abetted the sales of these entirely useless devices, and have cost many lives! YOU ABSOLUTE FECKERS! NOW YOU OTHER FECKERS, HERE'S MY MESSAGE.

Yes! I confess to having been entirely wrong. "That doesn't sound like the blogger we know and love", I hear you all shout...Read and weep folks.

When Rod Norland published his article in the New York Times about the $80 plus million dollars of the entirely useless ADE651 sales to Iraq in November 2009, I thought we would shortly see James McCormick of ATSC and Gary Bolton of Global Technical and the GT200, both arrested and charged. I thought our already more than year long campaign might be at an end soon.

When Newsnight broadcast their first two investigations in January and February 2010, I really believed it was End Is Nigh time for thesse delightful gentleman. In fact, when we heard of the arrest on corruption charges of General al Jabiri in Iraq for buying the ADE651, and the subsequent arrest of James McCormick (apparently in the usual Police style we now know of grabbing someone in response to media pressure, and then fouling up the case, despite all the help they could ever have wished for from us!!), I really believed it was as good as done and we could move on with the guilty done as well.

Was I right. HELL NO! How could I have foreseen that over three years since this campaign kicked off in thsi country, courtesy of the original exposes by James Randi at JREF (randi.org), nothing of substance has still apparently happened to McCormick, Bolton, or any of their associates in this fine upstanding country?

It does not stack up. Instead of arresting and charging McCormick and Bolton, the Police arrest the wrong man, yet again. It is absolutely, bleeding minbendingly unbelievably dumb of whoever is responsible. For a whole host of reasons I will not bore you with here. Suffice to say. We have the evidence, we have given you the evidence, and all you can do is feck about!! You know who I mean!!

SOME FURTHER QUESTIONS

PUZZLED? ME TOO!

BUT, sometimes new clues emerge and the story goes off in different directions. Meanwhile, speculation is rife. Now, I normally eschew too much speculation without the facts. You know, Sun type 'journalism'. But by now, you know me as nothing if not a straight talker.

So, here are some questions, and in asking them, once again I refer you to the fine blog of my fine friend and fellow fraudbuster, Techowiz (a man, may I remind you all, my fine feathered friends, who is almost singlehandedly responsible for bringing this disgusting fraud to full light and attention...sorry, I must digress for a moment and remind certain parties that they must get this into their thick heads before another Bristol landlord type case develops too much further. Geddit! If not, let me give you a clue. If you can see the Clifton suspension bridge when driving through the Avon Gorge, then you can bloody well see this!)

Anyhow, back the the thrust of this little piece. Now, as Techowiz has unearthed, we find Gary Bolton hobnobbling of old, with grand fromages. That's big cheeses to you what don't speak the French. And what big cheeses. Now what do you get with big cheeses. Yes. Pongs.

Do we smell pongs of yet another military man. Maj Gen Sharman. This gentleman (and we shall, for now, give him the benefit of the doubt), held the hand of Mr Gary Bolton, and lead him before that great institution, the British Parliament. Now, we know that Mr Bolton lied to the Committee, and we know how sensitive Parliament is to being lied to (Even though it houses more than its fair share of fibsters!).There he was, whingeing that the British Government was not doing enough to support exports of his apparent wonder gadget, the GT200 (formerly MOLE).

What we bloody wonder is why no on was asking him to prove it. However, that aside, no one was asking him why, with the European market on his doorstep, he was not trying to sell more here? In fact, we know (yes, Gary, we have the sources) that he was avoiding actually selling here. Mind you, he was clever, getting in to bed with the DMA and the Government. And we know that he had a long running relationship with the Royal Engineers, who were paid to demonstrate, and yes, twats at the MOD who tried to claim otherwise, PROMOTE his World saving devices. Which almost certainly helped him sell many pennies worth of junk to Mexico and Thailand for many millions.

We come back to asking everyone involved along the way this simple question. Were you corrupted or just plain dumbass stupid?

This is the only issue. Anyone with half a brain cell would want cast iron evidence of the claims of such a device, when it dealt with life and death. One can argue the morality of the arms trade inside out and upside down, but one cannot deny that most of it works. In these cases there is no defence on either moral or ethical grounds. and there is no defence for stupidity or corruption.

Those who have dallied with the devil (or should I say devils in the cases of both Bolton and McCormick) must answer for their actions, and now we have General Sharman to go ask.

The funny (peculiar) thing is that the Avon and Somerset Police have been told before where to look, and where not to look, but they keep on doing a passable impersonation of the Keystone Kops. Charging around, getting nowhere, or to the wrong places completely.

I hate to give comfort to the real criminals here, but it seems our wonderful rozzers (that's another word for police) are managing to do so, so why not me...

I have not been able to say too much until now, but I am now mighty riled and enough is enough.

Let me remind everyone that the purpose of this blog is to see the perpetrators and supporters of the fake detectors scams are brought to justice for their murderous and stupid behaviour.

Let me remind you that the two main culprits in the UK are James McCormick and Gary Bolton. Look them up if you don't know the story already!!

Now I have to report that the Avon and Somerset Police have wasted taxpayers money, failed to take action against James McCormick of ADE651 fame, and have managed to arrest and bail their main witness for the prosecution against McCormick. DOH and double DOH boys and girls in Avon and Somerset. You have really made a mess of this one!

Not only that but today they decided to exercise a warrant to search the home of the main witness against McCormick. The Avon and Somerset Police are making a pigs ear of this.

I cannot emphasie enough just how stupid the Avon and Somerset Police have been. We have questioned why they have been so impotent in dealing with a criminal as blatant as McCormick.

Funny! Ain't it. When we publish critical blog pieces the Avon and Somerset Police decide the right target is the whistleblower. What the hell is wrong with them?

No wonder we call our Police PLOD! Or the Forces of Law and Disorder....

Definition of PLOD: To move or walk heavily or laboriously; trudge: "donkeys that plodded wearily in a circle round a gin" (D.H. Lawrence).

As always, our good friend and stalwart Techowiz, gets to the heart of the matter. In his latest blog piece he questions what the hell the Avon and Somerset Police and The City of London Police are doing dithering over arresting and charging those accessories to mass murder, James McCormick and Gary Bolton. SO DO I?

We have wondered before if the UK Government would prefer this whole thing to go away because of embarrassment at lack of previous official action against these fraudsters and killers, and even previous UK Government support to help promote exports of these ridiculous so called explosives detectors that are no more than useless dowsing rods (don't get me started folks, DOWSING FOR ANYTHING CANNOT AND DOES NOT WORK!).

The record shows that we warned the Defence Select Commitee and specifically James Arbuthnot MP about this back in 2008/2009. Despite a few lettters flying about as a result, nothing much happpened until the BBC Newsnight investigation in Jan and Feb 2010 ruffled a few feathers and we got the apparently almost grudging, and way too late ban on exports to Iraq and Afghanistan (apparently only the lives of British forces mattered!). The prats in Government though that this partial ban was all they could really do. Is the Government worried about having to pay compensation to Mexico and Thailand where sales of Boltons GT200 appear to have been made on the backing of apparent British Government and military support? SO WHAT! Compensation should be paid for the stupidity of the British officials who allowed this patent scam to fool them!

We have since had another BBC Newsnight investigation in January this year, and still no action. Seems even Iraqi justice moves faster than British, since they have arrested General al Jabiri on corruption charges related to the purchase of the ADE651, and the Interior Ministry was obliged to return $20 Million USD to the Iraqi Treasury as a result. If they can arrest a buyer, why the hell can't we arrest the sellers?

It is frankly pathetic and we will be demanding answers. So, anyone who would like this to go away, and no doubt that would include Bolton and McCormick, you had better think again. We have not been campaigning on this issue for over 2 years, and seen so many deaths, injuries, loss of property and waste of money, to just let this go. It has been a saga or corruption, fraud and sheer stupidity, and has cost lives.

A COUPLE OF SMALL VICTORIES

Delighted to report two small victories in the campaign:

1. H3Tec - Whaddayaknow. Chuck has only gone and completely changed his website recently. No more claims of military applications for his version of the dowsing detector device. No more pictures of soldiers handling the H3tec. Sadly there is still one mention of military applications, but seems that the pressure of the campaign has had some effect.

The silly ass Chuck Christensen, is still trying to sell his useless H3tec to the treasure hunting and hydrocarbons prospectors. This is still a fraud, but we will leave that to one side for now, as at least lives are not in danger from these applications. Just wasted money and time.

2. Horizon Group, India. The delightful group of ex-Indian Army officers who became agents for the GT200 in India. Recently the campaign carried out a mass emailing to various Indian contacts including the Maharashtra Police (Horizon were claiming the GT200 was in use with the Police)

Well, as of only a few weeks ago Horizon had a prominent picture of a man with the GT200, as well as a link to the Global Technical website.

The Directors at Horizon obviously got twitchy, and sure enough, first the picture disappeared, to be replaced by a blank box. Then the link to Global Technical was removed. When challenged, Horizon claimed they had ended ties with Global technical back in 2009 following an earlier email from the Campaign, and that the website was just an oversight. Likely story!

Well, I suppose we should be pleased that Horizon are publicly distancing themselves from the GT200 at last. Perhaps the fact that they claim work with the UN on ordnance disposal in Sri Lanka, and other supposedly humanitarian efforts, made them nervous that their partners may not be too happy about the possible use of the GT200 in such applications.

Of course, Horizon have made some legal threats such as reporting the Campaign to the Indian cyber crime unit. We are, as always, quaking in our boots about this!

Our snivelling,swivellers who like to sell lies all seem to use the same book, GET OUT OF THAT, or Every Excuse You'll Ever Need.

They have all used one or more of the following when challenged to produce proper test results, or to undergo proper testing.

We have obtained a copy and here are the most common that we have received during the campaign.

We are going to have a vote to choose our favourite (currently it could be James McCormick, the ADE651 fraudster, with "Double blind testing doesn't work with this equipment.")

This is an extract from an email I sent David Vollmar following his recent legal threat (I haven't received any confirmation form his lawyer yet), hence the focus on Sniffex, but the same applies to every one of the variants.

EXCUSES USED WHEN THE FAKE DETECTORS FAIL IN PROPER TESTING - AS THEY ALWAYS DO - OR ANYTIME THEY FAIL IN REAL LIFE

1. They were not trained
2. The area was contaminated.
3. The sample was too small.
4. The shape of the box was wrong.
6. Other interference with the electrostatic/nqr/thermo redux/electromagetic/atomic resonance/etc etc etc so-called working principles of swivelling sticks.
7. The operator was un-trained/under-trained (oh, sorry, you lot keep repeating it, so I will too!)
8. Double-blind testing does not work with this type of equipment.
9. It's unknown to science.
10. Science doesn't know everything.
11. It only works in certain conditions (After Yuma failure of Sniffex, Johnson said it was meant for more sterile nevironments such as airports and ports -are you only trying to sell it to sterile environments David?)
12. We're improving all the time. The others are rubbish!
13. They were only swindling share holders. We are selling the real thing (see Sniffex Inc).
14. We have meaningless patents.
15. Our customers are so embarrassed we can't tell you who they are.
16. We are in too deep to back out now but we won't actually go to Court.
17. We have top secret tests. We could get very rich, and save many more lives, but we just cannot bring ouselves to tell you about them.
18. Wr do not understand Patent Law, Company Law, Criminal Law, Ethics, Morals, or common decency, we just sell the sh1t because we think we can get away with it, and we are greedy little piggies.
19. We sell some good stuff as well so we must be o.k. NOT! Mira Telecom, ProSec, Delpac, SDS, Horizon Group etc etc etc etc etc etc etc In this case, a few minor rights, do not a good maketh. One major wrong, do a hell maketh! Sorry. Can't wriggle out now that way.

The performance in Thailand was not pathetic but the report was decontextualized because they only showed the last 10 minutes, when the room was contaminated after they have been constantly moving explosives inside the room. You know the history if Sniffex at tests. Funny, It fails every time. And every time you have excuses. If HEDD1 worked as you claim, it is a simple matter to set up the appropriate, replicable, controlled double blind tests to prove it. We have offered this many times. On neutral ground, with neutral testers. And you can still be the operator! You accepted a long time back, but have never followed through. WHY? Competing in this kind of environment is quite difficult! GOOD! IT SHOULD BE WHEN YOU MAKE EXTRAORDINARY CLAIMS TO SAVE LIVES AND HAVE NOT PROVED IT! What you have also not understood is that HEDD1 is only one part of our product range. Look at the whole portfolio with very innovative and high-end products. So What! Some rights do not right your wrong! And selling useless detection equipment in EOD, or any scenario for that matter, is a nasty and despicable fraud. HEDD1 is useless. Ergo...Do you think we would risk our reputation and our commercial basis with one product only? If HEDD1/Sniffex is so good, you would get easy investment following proper testing, to get the best possible patent protections Worldwide. You would be able to get the investmnet to get the best lawyers to protect those patents. You would be able to effectively have a licence to print money. Because you would have credible testing proving you were right. That way, you would sell millions, and many happy customers would be delighted to boast how many lives their wise purchase had saved. History shows us that conned customers do not willingly admit to their mistakes, except in a few honourable exceptions. You are not going to be one of those exceptions. You have had your chances to do that. hence why we will finish this with a checkmate to us.

We are publishing as much information as necessary (NONE SO FAR TO BACK UP YOUR CLAIMS!) and possible in order to protect our technology. This technology has been developed with private funds only, unlike many other technologies out there! (SO WHAT!) But in a commercial world you have to protect your IP, we have had to learn this! (EXCUSE NUMBER 1 ..In the real World, as opposed to the fantasy one David Vollmar inhabits, it is relatively easy to protect what would be a real miracle device if it worked! See getting investment in previous paragraph. Also, one can get tested without revealing the inner workings. It is perfectly possible to get tests done, and if they prove that it works, then anyone wanting to see the insides can be tied up in a legal non-disclosure contract. SIMPLE! But no. Until today we have mostly ignored the countless emails of Messrs. Peter
Robinson, Diohuni, Fryer Tuck, Bart Weetjens and others of the „Fake
Explosives Detectors Campaign Group”. They have started an
anonymous, self-pleased smear campaign, harassing our company, our
employees and several of our business partners in a deeply unethical
and unprofessional way.

This is not true. I have a record of email correspondence going back two years or so ago with David Vollmar, which can of course be used in evidence. Like other swivelling fake detector salesmen, he could not resist tying himself in knots. Luckily for us!

Our anonymity is surely not the issue. The issue is only whether HEDD1 (formetly Sniffex) works. We know it does not. Our so called harassment has been entirely in the public and International interest i.e.to prevent fraud and save lifes, since HEDD1 cannot detect explosives as claimed.

The anonymously hiding people behind this campaign have purposely
decontextualized any corrections that were previously stated from our
company, preventing any kind of objective debate. The lack of decency
and manners however is unbearable.

Again, what of the anonymity? I have agreed to face you in Court if you present valid papers from a sensible jurisdiction, so again, irrelevant.

Ummmmm. Where do I begin to demolish these weasel words. Won't even bother with “decontextualised” as meaningless. What corrections? All Vollmar and Unival and everyone else involved with Sniffex and HEDD1 (history to follow shortly!) has ever done is either avoid or fail proper controlled double blind tests. That's it really.

Well, to begin with we did try to warn David more politely, but he kept on defending a blatantly obvious fraud, so we think his indecency selling a fake explosive detector is far worse than anything we could say or have said about him and his fellow fraudsters. A willingness to have people killed because of bogus equipment. Now that is indecent!

I shouldn't have to say more, but David does waffle on and would not want to leave him any wriggle room, so I will answer all his points.

For this reason we have handed over the complete materials published
by the people behind this campaign to our lawyers in order to take the
necessary legal action and will report this case to the public prosecution
department in charge. The infringements of this campaign group will be
taken care off accordingly.

We have had a previous legal threat from David Vollmar. I can dig out the email if you are interested. Well over a year ago now!! I am now taking bets on the chances David will follow up this time. (You'll know if my blog disappears but we will get it back again if necessary). What do you think the odds are, with all the proof available that HEDD1 is a fraud.

At this point of time, we therefore only wish to make the following
statement:

“The technology behind SNIFFEX®, SNIFFEX®PLUS and HEDD®1 is
different to reference-card based devices. The conformity in shape is
based on a similar adaption of cross bearing, which is an accepted
technology for determination of a position.

All variants of the fraud e.g. ADE651, GT200, Alpha 6, are all effectively derived from earlier versions e.g. Quadro Tracker and Mole. We have almost a full history to be published soon. All have the notorious radio antenna/aerial free swivelling. It does not matter how they dress them up, or what useless variation they claim in pseudo science, the radio aerial cannot detect explosives anyway. The scientific work behind SNIFFEX®, SNIFFEX®PLUS and HEDD®1
has started already more than 20 years ago and is under permanent
scientific progression. The scientific principle has been patented in the
US States Patent No. 6,344,818 with the title „Apparatus and method for
the detection of materials“.

There is no valid science behind Sniffex/HEDD1, even if it had been around for 1000 years! Oh. Of Course, It has. It's called dowsing, and that doesn't and never can work!

The abstract of this patent is as follows:
„A device to detect the presence of a target material comprising a source
module and detector module. The source module includes a generator to
producing a source signal corresponding to a characteristic frequency of
the target material. The detection module detects a location of the target
material wherein the detection module detects an interference signal
generated between the source signal and a signal generated by target
material caused by exposure to the source signal.“

The Patent application process here does not actually properly test if the product works. Just describes what it is, and is supposed to do. Sadly this is a common trick of the fraudsters. Either they claim Patents they do not have hoping no one will check. Or they exaggerate what the Patent actually means. Unless you know about Patents, they sound impressive. But, there are sadly many thousands on record of products that were eseentially scams. See also perpetual energy/motion inventions.

Thomas Afilani, who appears to be the godfather of the modern wave of this type of bogus detector, loves boasting about his worthless patents as well. Also Chuck Christensen at H3tec has a patent lying record as another example.

The devices SNIFFEX®, SNIFFEX®PLUS and HEDD®1 are based on
this principle. The manufacturing of these devices is conducted under a
quality management system according to EN ISO 9001:2000 standard
and is certified by Moody International registration number Q080514 valid
until 18.06.2011 with full compliance to CE conformities for electromagnetic
devices.

None of these standards are based on whether HEDD1/Sniffex works. They are merely standards of quality in manufacturing or standard conformity to safety. None require the products to be tested under controlled double blind conditions in order to be awarded!

governmental and private organizations on basis of highest ethical and
commercial conduct without any single reclamation and complaint until
today. There is and has been no investigation against our company or in
person related to of the sales of these devices.

It is impossible to test this claim unless they reveal who at least some of their customers are. We do in fact have some leads we are following. In the meantime, why be so shy of such a marvellous invention? We have been constantly baffled as to why all the various frauds have failed to tell the whole World loud and clear that it works after proper testing? They could be so rich? So odd?

Of course no one complains. They are either bribed, or fooled. If they stay fooled they won't complain. If bribed they won't complain. And if they realise they have been conned they don't complain.

SNIFFEX®, SNIFFEX®PLUS and HEDD®1 are an important part of the

The Magneto-Electrostatic-Detection claim is rubbish. (There are seemingly endless different operating principles for all the variants of this fraud, and none ever stack up when examined by reputable scientists). It cannot and does not operate as claimed. It has been claimed at times to be able to perfrom literal miracles, to be so effective it is foolproof, but when questioned, this typical diversionary tactic is used i.e. they start to say, oh, it is only one of many tools needed. That way it is impossible to say which did and did not work, without separate testing. They think this is a clever get out of jail clause, but it is so simply illogical.

Since HEDD1/ Sniffex cannot detect anything, how can it protect non-suspects? DOH!

As for harmless to the health of the operator, that would be funny, if it was not! In fact, the more HEDD1 is used, the more it fails, the more risk it causes to operator and those around the operator. It's the odds of random chance that these devices cannot beat!

Such as any professional equipment that is operated in a security related
environment, professional training is needed. Such as any equipment
that is operated from a human operator, misconduct may apply, if the
working principle is not strictly followed.

Ah, the old “training is required” excuse!! They all use it. Then, if someone not trained tests them they can claim they did not know how to use them properly. AND, they can claim when they fail in real life, i.e. a bomb goes off, that the user was inexperienced, or made a mistake, or ...anything but that their device was at fault. Also, training consists of staged demonstrations which use the ideomotor effect to hook people in.

For this reasons unival® group has never sold any equipment without
professional training, ensuring professional working standards and best
possible conduct of the working principle of our equipment including
SNIFFEX®, SNIFFEX®PLUS and HEDD®1.

Irrelevant. You can train all you like. It still will not work. Ask any serious EOD expert, Physics Professor, or perhaps Sidney Alford, or maybe Marcus Kuhn at Cambridge University. Or perhaps Professor Bruce Hood at Bristol. HEDD1/Snifex cannot and does not work

definition in which scenarios our equipment can add to existing security

Reliable security standards can only be achieved with a combination of
technologies and methods. Any technology that can increase security
standards must therefore be seriously considered, as the prevention of
casualties is the aim to strive for.

Any technology that has been proven to work in controlled testing only. HEDD1 has not. Yes, but to save lives we must see HEDD1 stopped. It is a fraud and a waste of time and money and is a distraction from real life saving.

Since HEDD1 cannot work, regardless as to whether you sell other stuff that does work, you are guilty of fraud. Doing some good, and some evil does not balance out on the scales of justice.

Quality fraud is still fraud! Ethics would include proper testing. Where? When? What? How? Results? We have repeatedly asked. You even agreed to this 2 years ago now. And to go for the Million Dollar Challenge. Why did you back down?

Do you mean you are so worried that HEDD1 will stop selling (we think it probably has already largely done so due to our campaign)? And so what? That does not make HEDD1 work! Nothing to do with the argument.

carried out from this anonymous campaign group and will counter-act
accordingly.

We look forward to receiving valid legal papers and demolishing Vollmar, Unival, and all involved with HEDD1 and Sniffex once and for all. Like we say, we doubt they will go to Court, but if they do, we are ready.

So once again, not a shred of evidence presented. Just attacks on the Campaign, and diversions. All that counts are proper tests. Sniffex failed three in the U.S. Before the company and it's Officers were done for Stock Market manipulation. The 'inventor' fled to Bulgaria (Yuri Markov). He is still under U.S. Investigation for the Sniffex fraud element of the con there. We know the FBI would like to interview him!

From there Markov or his associates sold the scam to Vollmar and others, renaming the Sniffex as HEDD1 when our campaign started to have an effect on their business. They have had to admit the Sniffex connection because it is too well documented to do otherwise.

I repeat. If I were them I would go to a major German University. Request throrough double blind testing. If it works a simple press release and the money rolls in. Why would you not do that? Only if you will fail of course!

When tested in Thailand, Vollmar and Trier both failed a double blind test and then made the old excuse that the area was too contaminated, and that there was too much media pressure to take the test. All the other fraudsters make this and a number of other common excuses when caught out (See Paul Johnson Sniffex test, or the Yuma test of Sniffex!!)

Enough. How many times do we need to point out. WE STILL HAVE NOT AN IOTA OR SCRAP OF EVIDENCE DAVID, SO SUE AWAY!

First of all you are a lot cuter than our rogues gallery (see Most Wanted post).

Second it seems that rats may be a lot better at detecting explosives than any of the ridiculous devices we are campaigning against.

Trained giant rats sniff out land mines, tuberculosis

In Mozambique, special squads of raccoon-size rats are sniffing out lethal explosive devices buried across the countryside, remnants of the country's anticolonial and civil wars of the last century.

In neighboring Tanzania, teams of rats use their twitchy noses to detect TB bacteria in saliva samples from four clinics serving slum neighborhoods. So far this year, the 25 rats trained for the pilot medical project have identified 300 cases of early-stage TB - infections missed by lab technicians with their microscopes. If not for the rodents, many of these victims would have died and others would have spread the disease.

"It's fair, I think, to call these animals 'hero rats,' " said Bart Weetjens, the Belgian conceiver of both programs.

The rat squads, at first derided by some interna tional aid officials as ridiculous, have won support from the World Bank and praise from the UN and land mine eradication groups. Now there are plans to deploy the creatures to Angola, Congo, Zambia, and other land mine-infested lands.

The rats' "noses are far more sensitive than all current mechanical vapor detectors," Havard Bach, a mine-clearing specialist with the Geneva International Center for Humanitarian Demining, wrote in a study.

Although rats make almost everyone's short list of horrors - associated with filth, disease, and destruction of food crops - they "are really nice creatures," according to Weetjens.

"They are organized, sensitive, sociable, and smart," said the former product engineer in a telephone interview from Antwerp, Belgium, home base for Apopo International, the nonprofit organization that trains and deploys the rats.

In the 1990s, he journeyed to Africa to study land mine clearance techniques. He put his engineer's mind to the expensive, clumsy, and often risky methods employed to detect the lethal contraptions of metal and explosive that detonate underfoot.

Land mines claim casualties for decades after the last shot is fired in a conflict; millions are strewn in former and present fighting zones across Africa, Asia, and Europe. The wickedly durable antipersonnel devices kill or maim thousands of people every year, mainly in the poorest of countries. Removal of the weapons is a priority of the United Nations and other groups.

"In Africa, it came to me: Rats can be part of this great effort," Weetjens recalled.

So he started training giant pouched rats - an African species known for its large size, sunny disposition, and ultra-keen nostrils - to detect the faintest whiff of TNT and other explosives. Because the rats are too light to trigger the explosive, they are not harmed in the exercise; they simply signal the location of the explosive to a handler, who has it defused and removed.

The rat land mine-clearing program in Mozambique, although still small in scale, has been operational for two years - with 34 trained rats deployed to the field, each overseen by a pair of armor-clad handlers. Another 250 mine-detecting rats are undergoing schooling at Tanzania's Sokoine University of Agriculture. It takes 8 to 10 months to fully train a rat, said Weetjens.

A single rat can inspect 1,000 square feet in about 30 minutes, according to Apopo; that's at least a full day's labor for a human working with an electronic detector at terrible risk.

Rat teams are credited with clearing 270 square miles of former farm and village land in southern Mozambique, allowing for the return of peasant families dislocated since the 1980s.

Dogs can perform the same task. But rats are less expensive to train ($3,000 to $5,000 per animal, compared with $40,000 for a canine), easier to house and transport, and far less susceptible to tropical disease. Also, dogs can trip land mines.

Also, rats don't form deep emotional attachments to a single handler. A rat will happily work with anyone who gives the right commands and provides the correct payoff - a few peanuts or a nice ripe banana for locating a land mine, said Andrew Sully, Mozambique program manager for Apopo.

The rodents are hitched to a light leash and scamper in tight grid patterns in suspected land mine sites. When they scent explosive, they signal with furious digging motions. They typically work from 5 to 9 a.m., quitting when the ferocious African sun gets too hot.

"People are so surprised to see this" project, said Alberto Jorge Chambe, a Mozambican rat handler for Apopo. "Rats are usually considered pests or enemies of humanity. But rats are helping my country escape the shadow of death."

Meanwhile, in a conceptual leap, Weetjens decided to turn the rats' sharp olfactory sense to disease detection, starting with tuberculosis. "The medical applications, I believe, will eventually prove even more important than the hunt for land mines," he predicted.

In the pilot project in the Tanzanian capital of Dar es Salaam and the nearby city of Morogoro, Apopo-trained rats evaluate saliva samples at a rate of 40 every 10 minutes; that's equal to what a skilled lab technician, using a microscope, can effectively complete in a day.

A TB rat signals with unmistakable paw motions when it detects sputum infected by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the infectious bug responsible for 1.7 million deaths and 9.2 million new TB cases each year, mainly in poor countries, according to the World Health Organization. Scientists at Germany's Max Planck Institute are now trying to determine whether the rats are detecting the scent of the actual TB bacteria or some metabolic reaction produced by the infection.

For both TB and land mines, the rats are trained to respond to the sound of a clicker; when the rat makes the scratching motion that means it has detected an explosive or the odor of disease, the handler or trainer responds by snapping the clicker, which means a nut or fruit is on the way.

So why don't the animals just scratch every few minutes to win a treat?

"That would be human behavior," said Weetjens. "Rats are more honest."

Despite the brave efforts of Andres Tonini and others in Mexico, we hear that the GT200 (and possibly other variants of this sick fraud) are still in use. Incredible!

With all the proof that these things simply cannot and do not work, some people in Mexico are still prepared to put the lives of others at risk to defend corruption and fraud.

I will not detail the full history of this particular branch of the swivelling aerial con. If you do not know the story so far, you can find much more via the links below.

For now I will say that these frauds (others include ADE651 and Alpha 6 etc) have already been responsible for many deaths. People blown to pieces because they did not work! Not a funny little joke about dowsing!

While we have criminals and terrorists trying to blow us up, let's at least try to take real action to combat them. Not rely on bribery, stupidity and beliefs in the paranormal to rule our lives!

We know that Mexico is full of good people, so we just cannot understand why these ridiculous devices are still in use anywhere in Mexico when everyone in the World knows they do not work and cannot work.

We know that like the ADE651 in Iraq, there has been corruption in the purchasing of the GT200 in Mexico. No doubt all the strongest defenders are in some way implicated in taking money, or looking after friends.

But, what amazes us is that everyone is at risk. If the GT200 is in use anywhere where Officials or Military or Police go, they are all at risk. Senior and junior alike. This is a gamble. Pure and simple. The longer they are in use, the more deaths and injuries they will be responsible for. That's the result of random chance which is all these devices can achieve. Like the casino, you lose eventually.

Does Mexico want to wait until a senior member of Government, Police or Military gets blown to bits before anyone will act? It is not a matter of whether, but when. They could save themselves an awful lot more trouble by acting now to ban the GT200 and anything similar.

We Brits apologise to the people of Mexico that the GT200 came from the UK.We are embarrassed and disgusted. We are making great progress in the campaign to make good, we hope a bit.

If Thailand can be embarassed into a public exposure (see the internet GT200 in Thailand or Alpha 6 in Thailand, or HEDD1 in Thailand), so can Mexico, and rid yourselves of this dangerous toy.

If General al Jabiri can be arrested on charges of corruption in Iraq related to the ADE651 deal, then it can and will happen in Mexico.

We will begin a support campaign from the UK. We will start to email all Official Mexican contacts we can find, explaining that if they fail to act, they are complicit in murder. We will make a big pit in which to wash away this filth.

We will put pressure on major International State partners of Mexico, both military and political. They don't want to be relying on a certain death trap fake detector.

BUT...this also requires concerted support across Mexico. You need to work hard at this. You need to consistently pressurise the major media, the authorities, everyone. All the major businesses. You can put financial pressure on major International companies. We can publicise to them that they are at risk too. We will email all we can find that are connected in any way. We will spread the word throughout their partners in Europe and the States. They will not want their executives and skilled staff at risk.

All of this has been not enough to create public awareness on this subject. Main press and TV continues not just ignoring the subject but even justifying it.^[77] Mexican military continues doing searches^[78] and explosives are ruled out^[79] based on GT200 results.
According to data available in Federal Institute of Access to Public Information (IFAI) and press notes, the GT200 has been bought among others by the SEDENA, SEMAR, some PEMEX filials and some state police agencies.^[80]^[81]^[82] As of 2009, more than US$16,258,534 was spent.^[83]

INVENTOR Charles Christensen shows off his device to locate treasures, oil and land mines.

KAYSVILLE — Looking for sunken treasure, oil and land mines — it sounds like something out of a Clive Cussler novel — but for local business H3 Tec, it’s all in a day’s work.

NOT SURE WHO CUSSLER IS BUT H3Tec SURE IS FICTION

The company, based in the entrepreneurial center near the DATC, has developed a device that can be used to search for all these things, and demand is growing.

NO IT CANNOT. AND DEMAND IS GROWING, BUT FOR THINGS THAT WORK, NOT FRAUDS

“Our clientele is unique,” said CEO/creator Charles Christensen. “We have miners, professional salvors and hobbyists. We’ve found three Spanish Galleons and we’re going to Kenya to train the police there in finding explosives.”

Christensen said he was consulting for World Com and had a contract at the Pentagon. “When I went to Walter Reed in 1991 I had never seen those kind of injuries (caused to soldiers by IEDs),” he recalled. “That isn’t the way to find those. I studied and read, and I thought with my degrees in mechanical engineering and computer engineering I could find a device to detect explosives.”

“Years passed, and a friend of mine had a son going into the military,” he said. “He took a couple of units with him, but we have nothing formal yet.”

The local operation is small, with a factory in Ogden. But Christensen said they have a factory in India as well. They have expanded with three district representatives in the United States, Iowa, Texas and San Diego.

“We’ve won some Best in State awards and we continue to develop it as people see the good it can do,” he said. “We’ve had offers from big companies but we want to maintain control ourselves.”

Christensen said his goal is to get one of his units on a satellite and map out a battlefield so soldiers will know where the harm is and be able to tag them all (IEDs).

He said they are using the H3 Tec units in Kuwait and Afghanistan right now. Christensen knows of one man who goes to New York to scan for nuclear products. They have even started detecting methamphetamine, (where it is being cooked) he said.

Christensen believes the H3 Tec has many applications that could have a big impact on the world. The group does training at the center.

WOW. WHAT MORE WONDERS CAN HE COOK UP? AND THEY TRAIN THEIR USERS! FOR $10000 PLUS I SHOULD THINK THEY WOULD!. DOESN'T HELP. YOU COULD TRAIN FOREVER AND THE H3Tec WOULS STILL BE USELESS.

“Training is mandatory for people who buy our equipment,” he said. “It’s a two-day class, and when they leave they can actually use the thing.”

WHAT? HOW TO HOLD IT? THATS A TOUGH ASSIGNMENT!

Christensen said it has been an exciting journey.

“We’ve learned a lot of history,” he said. “We’re working awfully hard and having a lot of fun.”

But it hasn’t been without sacrifice. Christensen said he has invested $3.5 million of his own money into the invention.

“The most difficult thing is sustainment,” he said. “We’re working about 20-hour days, seven days a week. It’s a crazy business — there’s nothing like it. But I’m in it until I’m done.”
