No Jim! Don't get the wrong end of the stick (of dynamite)!
I regret to have to inform you of further delay to the conclusion of the trial of Mr James William McCormick on charges of fraud.
News just in that the trial is currently scheduled to resume on Monday and Tuesday next week, but will again be adjourned on Wednesday and Thursday, due to the Judge being unavailable on those days.
At this stage we therefore assume that the summing up by the Judge will take place on Friday 19th April. Depending on how long that takes, the Jury will be sent out to consider their verdicts on the charges either on that Friday, or on Monday 22 April. As always I will try to keep you up to date.
One can only hope that the Jury will be able to recall all the relevant evidence by then!
Mind you, given that Jim is a terrible worrier, these delays can't be much consolation to him.
