Some of our dear readers may recall a previous post detailing the latest developments in Romania. It seems that despite the conviction of their old friend Jim McCormick on charges of fraud, Mira Telecom just cannot give up on the idea of making dirty money from fake detectors.
Having worked with McCormick on the ADE651, Mira Telecom and their tame mad Professor Apostol have gone on to develop their own variant of the fraud, the MEXD (complete with flashing lights). See previous post HERE
Now we have reports from Romania that Stelian Ilie at Mira Telecom is having some success selling this garbage to the Romanian security services. Well, if they are stupid enough, or corrupt enough to buy this garbage, let's hope that they get themselves blown up while using them. Sadly innocent people may also get blown to smithereens if they rely on this nonsense.
If anyone can let us have more information about this please feel free.
Finally, for now, a message for Stelian Ilie. One of these days your criminal activities will come back to bite you on your stupid arse. Oh, and a message for Professor Apostol. You are one dumb idiot!
FAKE EXPLOSIVES DETECTORS AND LONG RANGE LOCATORS: ADE 651,GT200,Alpha 6,SNIFFEX,HEDD1,PSD-22,DKL LIFEGUARD,H3TEC,GADE651,AL-6D,KHOJI, QUADRO TRACKER,MOLE ETC. A TRUE STORY OF INTERNATIONAL FRAUD, CORRUPTION AND DEATH. DOWSING CAN'T DETECT ANYTHING! IT'S ALL PSEUDOSCIENCE. The sellers and buyers are criminal. They don't take proper tests to prove their claims. Bribery, corruption and stupidity. DO NOT BUY-YOU WILL DIE! When we win, prize for how many songs on blog!

MIRA TELECOM EPIC FAIL - AGAIN
I am referring to an earlier post:
MORE ROMANIAN MYSTERY
I recently received the following email in response to my complaints and enquiries to the European Union funding agency responsible for the project:
So, that might explain why the project was never commissioned. Funny that we have not seen any mention of this in the Romanian media? I wonder why? So, we will be keeping a close eye on Mira Telecom to see if they try to wangle any more money from the European pot.
We will also, of course, keep up the pressure on the Romanian authorities to investigate the involvement of Stelian Ilie and Mira Telecom with the ADE651, James McCormick, the DKL Lifeguard and the AL-6D.
Oh yes, I forgot to mention that our old friend Dr Marian Apostol was involved in this project. No wonder it went tits up!

MORE ROMANIAN MYSTERY
Below is an open letter to Stelian Ilie at Mira Telecom in Romania. For those of you who are new to this blog, Mira Telecom were partners with, and agents for Mr James McCormick and the ADE651. Not only did they sell that useless, fraudulent, fake detector, but also the equally useless DKL Lifeguard, and AL-6D versions of the swivelling stick.
News reaches us from Romania that they have also been involved with another 'detection' technology, which we believe is also probably useless. Please see below for relevant links.
Dear Mr Ilie,
We understand that your company is responsible for having installed the EPOFAT Train Guard system at Nicolina Station, which you and the manufacturers claim can detect humans in train wagons, and is supposed to help with border control to prevent illegal immigration.
We understand that the system is claimed to work by detecting the electromagnetic field of the human body, and that it can operate through metal and concrete.
We understand that the system was sold for 550 000 Euros, and that the money to buy it was provided by the European Union.
Our information indicates that this project is a pilot for possible further installations.
We also understand that the system is still not operating despite having been in place since late 2011, or early 2012. We understand that this is because it has still not been commissioned and tested by your so called experts.
In the opinion of a highly respected U.K. based Professor of Physics, the ability of the system to work as claimed is highly questionable. His exact words are as follows:
'The website doesn't have much in the way of technical information, so it's difficult for me to make any specific comments.
However the operating principle, remotely detecting the electromagnetic fields of humans, seems rather dubious to me. While people might create very small fields, due to the movement of electrical charges in nerves and the like, these would be so small as to be virtually undetectable. They would be completely drowned by everyday background EM fields from radio stations, mobile phones and the like.
I would like to think that anyone considering buying such a device would insist on seeing rigorous, double blind independent tests to prove its effectiveness, but somehow I doubt that will be the case.'
So Mr Ilie, we have some important questions:
1. Why is the system still not operational so long after installation?
2. What rigorous double blind testing has taken place on the system? If it has been fully tested, please provide details as to who carried out the testing, the protocols used, and the results?
Given your history of involvement with the fraudulent ADE651, DKL Lifeguard, and AL-6D 'detectors' you will understand that we are highly suspicious of your involvement with any security equipment that appears to have suspiciously pseudoscientific sounding explanations.
Please note that we are copying this letter to the procurement authority in Romania who were responsible for acquiring the system, as well as the European Funding agency responsible for providing the money used to buy it, so I suggest that you had better have some very good answers.
Yours sincerely,
Peter Robinson

QUESTIONABLE MIRA TELECOM?????????
While we wait, and hope, to see if the trial of James McCormick will finally conclude this week, we are also waiting for more information on the case of Elodia Ghinescu in Romania. You may remember reading two of my recent posts on this case, where the ADE651 was used (and of course failed) to try to locate her body.
In the press coverage from Romania, the case has raised important questions as to who there was responsible for purchases of the ADE651. At least three Romanian Government Ministries are implicated, and there are calls for an urgent investigation.
As part of that investigation we think the Romanian authorities should have some interesting questions for Stelian Ilie at Mira Telecom.
After we conducted a campaign by email to inform business partners of Mira Telecom about their involvement with McCormick and the ADE651, Stelian Ilie wrote an open letter claiming that Mira Telecom had terminated their relationship with McCormick in March 2010. This was most interesting because up to the point when he released that letter, he had been vigorously defending that relationship and the ADE651, both directly and indirectly (including various Romanians, who we believe were employees of Mira, adopting pseudonyms, and posting comments supportive of the ADE651 on Youtube and elsewhere).
Now, bringing all this into context of the trial of McCormick, and the Elodia Ghinescu case, two big questions for Mira Telecom:
1. If Mira Telecom terminated their relationship with McCormick in 2010, how and why did they provide a witness for the defence at the trial of McCormick?
This witness (who appeared via video link from Romania) claimed that the ADE651 worked well, but had to be warned by the Judge for being coached by someone off camera as to what to say.
2. If Mira Telecom terminated their relationship with McCormick in 2010, why was the ADE651 still being used as late as 2012 in the search for the body of Elodia Ghinescu?
You can see a copy of the letter that Stelian Ilie of Mira published in February 2011, where he claimed that Mira stopped working with McCormick in 2010, at the blog of Techowiz
HERE . (We know that part of the reason why Stelian Ilie wrote this letter was that at least one company in the U.K. stopped dealing with Mira Telecom as a result of our email campaign. Please note his threat of legal action against us for 'calumny', which strangely never materialised! Well Stelian, here is some more calumny for you!)
During the trial of McCormick, invoices were produced that showed that Mira Telecom were one of at least four different companies that were invoiced for ADE651 units which were subsequently shipped to Iraq. It has long been questioned why McCormick did not sell direct to the Iraqis, and whether there were any irregularities in those deals i.e. were Iraqi officials bribed to buy the ADE651? We understand there are ongoing investigations into those purchases in Iraq, and have previously reported that we have heard Major General al Jabiri (who signed off on the largest orders) is serving a prison sentence for irregularities in the purchase procedures).
We believe that at least some of the money McComick made from sales of the ADE651 to Iraq may still be in Romania. As we have previously reported, records in Romania show that at one time McCormick bought shares in Mira Telecom, and was a Director of one of the Mira companies.
We hope to bring you much more interesting news on investigations in Romania. Meanwhile, we would like to say "HELL - O to Stelian."
P.S. At the trial of McCormick it emerged that the Romanian authorities used the ADE651 in advance of a visit to Romania by President Bush. Perhaps they didn't like him very much.

THE ELODIA GHINESCU/ADE651 MYSTERY
As reported yesterday (See Body of Evidence - Or Not post below), it seems that the Romanians just cannot give up on the ADE651.
The Elodia Ghinescu murder case raises two mysteries.
Mystery 1 - Where is her body?
Mystery 2 - Why did the Romanian Police use the ADE651 to try to find her body?
Here is a translation from a part of one of the articles I linked you to yesterday:
"District Attorney Dan Romulus Varga fron the Hugh Court along with Police Chief Inspector Lazar Cristian have both undersigned a report which is stating that in relation with the prosecution/ criminal investigation file 1249/p/2010 registered with the High Court of Justice, this day of 10th of Oct. 2012 Col. Teodorescu from the Special Protection Svce. has been using the ADE 650 test set in the investigation for biological traces of Mrs. Elodia Ghinescu using some hair that is known to belong to her."
We look forward to bringing you much more information about this scandal. Hopefully it will result in a proper investigation in Romania into Mira Telecom, and those who bought the ADE651 and why? Is it possible that some officials in Romania were incentivised (encouraged with money)?
We told Mira telecom back in 2009 to stop dealing with Mr James McCormick and the ADE651, but they chose to ignore our wise advice, and Stelian Ilie at Mira threatened us with legal action (although they never did get around to it!). We have warned various authorities in Romania about the ADE651, but it seems they have not taken any notice.
Well Stelian, and the buyers of the ADE651 in Romania, the truth will come out.

THE BODY OF EVIDENCE - OR NOT!
Thanks to a tip off from one of our Romanian contacts, we can bring you a most fascinating story. A tale that might get the anal sphincter of Stelian Ilie of Mira Telecom twitching.
To set the scene, here is the sad story of the murder of a woman, courtesy of Nine O'Clock.ro:
New evidence emerged in the case allegedly proving that Elodia was beaten to death by her husband. Prosecutors were expected to seek the remand of Cioaca.
Coup de theatre in the case of missing lawyer Elodia Ghinescu. Policeman Cristian Cioaca was formally charged with murdering his ex-wife, five years after she disappeared. Cioaca was taken yesterday to the Supreme Court’s prosecutor office, to be formally informed that he is the target of a criminal procedure in which prosecutors want to place him on remand. The news was confirmed by the policeman’s lawyer, Maria Vasii, who said that she does not know the motivation of the request to remand her client. On the other hand, Crina Radu, the lawyer of the Ghinescu family said that the proposal to remand Cioaca was made under the accusations of murder and grave desecration, and the case will be tried by the Bucharest Tribunal.According to jurnalul.ro, the result of latest searches of the apartment owned by Cristian Cioaca in Brasov, corroborated with the other pieces of evidence gathered in the case justify prosecutors’ request to arrest Cioaca. During searches made on September 13 and this month, a state-of-the-art device allowed investigators to discover traces of blood in the same area of the apartment. Their number and dynamic prove that Elodia fell victim to a very violent assault, adds the source. The policeman‘s lawyer, who witnessed the searches, admitted that prosecutors took samples of the wall paint which contained traces of blood “that can resist for years.”Elodia Ghinescu (38) was last seen alive on August 29, 2007 as confirmed by witness statements and the listing of mobile phones, as well as by the inactivation of her bank accounts. The only person that saw Elodia alive on August 30 the same year is Cristian Cioaca. On November 8, 2011 the lawyer was declared dead, by sentence of the Brasov Tribunal, and on February 12, 2012 the ID Administration Service of the Campulung Municipality issued a death certificate on her name. The court verdict that declares her dead produces the same legal effects as physical death certified by examining the body. In the case of Elodia, for instance, it resulted in the revocation of the international search warrant on her name (through Interpol)."
What has this got to do with us you may well ask. Well, it seems that the body of Elodia has never been found. So, in an effort to find her body it seems the Romanian Police were persuaded to use the ADE651. Apparently the idea was that hairs of the victim could be used to 'program' the ADE651 to find the body via searches of cemetries and churchyards.
It will not come as any surprise to most of you that this method failed.
It seems that this sad case has brought the issue of Romanian purchases of the ADE651 into question, and may well start a process of investigation of Mira Telecom, and Government Agencies responsible for procurement.
Here are links to two reports in the Romanian media. We are awaiting translations and will let you have more information as we receive it.
